Southeast Net, October 21 (our reporter Ye Fuguo) On the evening of the 20th, the symphonic poem "Thousand Autumn Mazu" concert created for the "Cross-Strait Worship of Songshan Mazu Palace Millennium Celebration" was successfully staged at the Xiapu County Grand Theater, which was also the first performance of the symphonic music.
According to reports, the symphonic poem "Millennium Mazu" is a symphonic music work that promotes traditional Chinese culture and praises the spirit of great love of Mazu. Composed by Zhang Shaotong and lyrics by Wang Jian, Lin Shu and Li Wenya, it is divided into six movements: "Man and the Sea", "Angel Mo Niang", "Burning House Navigation", "Great Love Wish", "Universal Salvation of All Sentient Beings" and "Thousand Autumn Mazu". The whole symphonic music poem is delicate and tactful, melodious and beautiful, and magnificently reproduces the epic legendary life of Mazu Lin Moniang from man to god.

"We are working hard in music from two directions, one is that people look up to and admire Mazu very noble and religious, and establish the image of the goddess of peace and security of Mazu. Mazu culture has distinctive maritime characteristics, as an outstanding representative of China's marine culture and a common cultural belief on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, it is an important component of China's excellent traditional culture.
