The film tells the story of a group of people who are attacked by piranhas while fishing on the lake.
An old man is drinking beer by the lake and leisurely fishing, but he does not know that danger is approaching. The crust at the bottom of the lake changed, causing violent shaking, causing cracks to appear underwater, forming huge whirlpools. The old man desperately started the engine of the boat, but everything was in vain. What's even more frightening is that hidden crystal stones are released from cracks in the earth's crust, and the old man becomes their prey. A terrible catastrophe is imminent.
The next scene shows the annual spring and summer festival, surrounded by laughter. Tom is a seaside born local, he rides a small motorcycle, has a stubborn personality, does not dare to confess to the girl he likes, and is often bullied by his classmates. Director David needed someone familiar with the terrain to take them to shoot, and Tom agreed.
Morgan and Sheriff Shirley discover an empty boat on the lake. Shirley accidentally falls into the water while pulling the boat, but there are piranhas hidden underwater. Then they found the body at the beginning of the movie. Piranhas have entered the waters, and one of the boys was attacked while diving into the water and subsequently disappeared.
There was a group of people on the beach throwing a beach party, and Tom and David also went to shoot together. They came to a beautiful reef and started swimming. Piranha chased after the taste.
Sheriff Shirley thought that the body found that night was related to the shaking at the bottom of the lake, so she asked the divers to investigate underwater, but they found no clues. However, they found many piranha eggs underwater.
One of the team members was bitten on the finger by the piranha, causing the piranha to attack, and soon only the screams of the team members were heard, and finally the entire diving team was destroyed. But Shirley and they did their best to bring back a specimen of a piranha.
