At this time, it is urgently needed for a person to stand up and escort the transportation of supplies to the rear of the Chinese army. And this person is Dragon Rope Zeng.
Relying on his background and gang power, the third son served as the chairman of the drivers' union and participated in the coordination and management of road transport in Yunnan and Burma. Dragon Rope once killed chickens and monkeys, and destroyed several bandits along the Burma Highway. The other bandits were stunned that they did not dare to move the supplies of the road. Escorting this path of life may be the only praiseworthy place in the life of the Third Prince of Long. With this one thing, the life of the Third Duke of Long could have been safe. But no one expected that he would finally choose to kill himself.
In 1947, Chiang Kai-shek, who had been under house arrest for two years, transferred Long Rope to Nanjing Army University for training in order to take good care of Long Yun's family. Long Rope was overjoyed, he did not know what the plan was, he thought he had been appreciated by Chiang Kai-shek, and his heart was not to say how happy he was.

However, all his actions had long been expected by our army, and under the calm response of the People's Liberation Army, in less than two hours, the Dragon Rope Zeng and the rest of the troops were completely annihilated, killing 219 bandits such as Dragon Rope Zeng and taking 1268 prisoners.
In fact, Long Rope seemed to have ventured forward in this rebellion, but in fact he had already made careful preparations, with Zhaotong as the center, and set up rebel troops in Liangshan, Qiaojia, Jinshajiang and other places. It was just that on the day of the rebellion, these troops were either cleared by our army or pacified by our army, and none of them responded to the dragon rope. Deng Xiaoping also immediately telephoned the Central Military Commission, saying: After the dragon was extinguished, the work of the Yi people in Daliangshan and the suppression of bandits in the southwest will be much better in the future. Chen Geng also said happily: I am doing this to eliminate the scourge for the people of Yunnan.
Just when the people of the whole country were celebrating the success of the bandits, there was one person who was not happy, and this person was Long Yun.
At that time, Long Yun was still in Beijing, although he had long known about his son's behavior, but after all, Long Yun and Long Rope had a family relationship with blood thicker than water. Moreover, Long Yun had always loved this three sons who were not instrumental. After hearing that Chen Geng had destroyed Long Rope Zeng and killed him on the spot, Long Yun was furious. Soon, this matter was known to Chairman Mao.
Chairman Mao knew Chen Geng very well, and he knew very well that this crackdown on bandits must have been unsuccessful after many consultations, and Chen Geng was forced to do so as a last resort. Although the right path in the world is vicissitudes, as long as you walk right and walk straight, you can have a clear conscience and stand upright in the world!
