To realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the vast number of young people are not only dreamers, but also dreamers. Young people should pay more attention to young people, young people should understand young people more, and young people should support young people more. Constantly enhancing the affinity and attractiveness of the ideological and political science class to young college students and enhancing their sense of gaining the ideological and political science class is the glorious mission entrusted by the party and the state to every teacher of the ideological and political science class in colleges and universities. To this end, in 2018, the Ministry of Education launched the implementation of the "Special Work on the Construction of the Teaching Team of Ideological and Political Science Classes in Colleges and Universities". In 2019, Comrade Xi Jinping stressed at the National Education Conference that building a socialist modern power puts forward new and higher requirements for the construction of the teacher team. The young teachers of the ideological and political science class in colleges and universities are not only the young generation who have been pinned high hopes on, but also the theoretical warriors who have been entrusted with heavy responsibilities; they are both young people and leaders of young people, with dual missions and double requirements. Young teachers in the ideological and political science class should make good use of the advantages of similar age and similar experience to take root in teaching, integrate into students, and win their trust and respect; they must have patriotic aspirations, be concerned about li deitude, lead young students to grow into talents, and write regretless youth.

First, join hands with young students to share the mission of great rejuvenation

We must realize that cultivating young talents is an important task in the construction of an innovative country. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in a serious tone: The whole party should care for and love the youth and set the stage for them to achieve a brilliant life. It is necessary to cultivate and bring up a large number of strategic scientific and technological talents, scientific and technological leading talents, young scientific and technological talents, and high-level innovation teams with international standards. The report of the 19th National Congress identified "giving priority to the development of education" as the primary measure to improve people's livelihood. Every effort should be made to create all kinds of favorable conditions to help young people grow into talents.

We must realize that young talents are an important driving force for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will eventually become a reality in the continuous struggle of generations of young people. Young people are the main force of mass innovation and mass entrepreneurship, the vanguard of accurate poverty alleviation and squatting in villages, and the new force for the construction of national weapons such as Tiangong and Jiaolong. In the face of the future builders of the country, as young teachers of the ideological and political science class, can we be full of confidence to tell them that their teaching and scientific research is trustworthy, and their moral cultivation is trustworthy? From a young student to a young teacher, from learning from the negative to teaching and educating people, the young teachers of the ideological and political science class have also taken up the burden of leading young students to grow into talents while completing the transformation of their social roles. We must value and respect young students. As young people, we and the young students are dreamers who want to make meritorious achievements, and we are all dreamers who want to revive China. On the road of one heart and one direction, chasing dreams, all young people are in the same boat and move forward side by side. We must fully realize that we have a heavy responsibility, that the small ideological and political classroom is arming tens of millions of laborers in national construction with ideas, and that it is casting qualified successors to the socialist cause with ideals.

Second, guide young students to establish correct values

On May 4, 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping borrowed the May Fourth spirit to call on the vast number of young people to adhere to and consciously practice the core values of socialism and lay the ideological foundation for their own growth into talents. "He who sinks a well starts from a three-inch barrier and is as deep as ten thousand inches." Values determine a young person's life direction and way of acting. The value orientation of young people determines the value orientation of the whole society in the future. Young teachers in the ideological and political science class are not only academic guides, but also leaders in life progress. On the one hand, we must constantly correct our own value orientation and improve our own moral cultivation; on the other hand, we must be a beacon and model for the formation of young people's values, always maintain a sense of identity, lead college students to establish correct values, and buckle the first button of life.

We must do a good job in setting an example of young students' values and outlook on life. In the barren and remote countryside of northern Shaanxi, in Liangjiahe, the young Xi Jinping has not been defeated by difficulties, has not been crushed by the environment, and has risen to the challenge, still has high ambitions and adheres to his faith. He sharpened himself in the arduous countryside, tempered himself in the heavy labor production, and nurtured himself in the simple local society. If the natural environment is harsh, we will struggle hard to transform the environment; if economic production is backward, we will pool our wisdom and efforts to improve the conditions. Putting aside the empty and abstract persuasion, General Secretary Xi Jinping appeared to impart growth experience, and also made a vivid teaching demonstration of how young teachers in the ideological and political science class can cultivate students.

We must grasp the key stage of the formation of young students' values. Universities are a crucial period for young people to develop their values and outlook on life. In college, they are growing fast and maturing fast. Young students are often full of curiosity and fear of strangeness, often willing to perform and talk, often more persistent and do not seek to understand; they use the latest scientific and technological products and deep social integration, but they cannot touch the real social difficulties in the ivory tower; they are always keen to comment on various social events, but they are always on the sidelines. The contradictory stage of life is full of unclear, unthinkable, and unsmooth growth questions. Young teachers in the ideological and political science class need to pay attention to the transmission of knowledge, but also need to provide students with the most timely reference with fresh life experience, and point out the way forward for young students.

The university is not only a temple for passing on knowledge, but also a melting pot for forging ideals. Here, young students are becoming living individuals with independent thinking and complete personality. How should we cultivate qualified college students who have lofty aspirations, both ability and political integrity, reasonableness and cultivation, and the courage to open up? As a young teacher of the ideological and political science class, it is our job to do a good job of value guidance, and we need to become an example for the majority of young students to learn. Learning from a high school is a teacher, and being a model is a model, we must be earnest, impart solid knowledge in the classroom, and establish a teacher's morality and teaching style after the class. We must strive to become good teachers of the "four haves," cultivate ourselves strictly, teach by example, and become models for students to govern their studies and become people.

Third, help young students to achieve a better life

This is an era in which we will continue to win the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the new historical conditions; an era of decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and then comprehensively building a socialist modern power; an era in which the people of all nationalities throughout the country will unite and struggle, constantly create a better life, and gradually realize the common prosperity of all the people; it will be an era in which all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation will work hard with one heart and one mind to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; and it will be an era in which our country is getting closer and closer to the center of the world stage and constantly making greater contributions to mankind. The responsibility of the times is given to the youth, and the glory of the times belongs to the youth. In this great era, young people are more confident and capable than at any time in history to achieve the rise of China and national rejuvenation. Contemporary young people must not only fully affirm the great achievements made in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, but also face up to the difficulties and deficiencies in construction, and closely link their own development with the development of the country in light of their own conditions.

We must encourage young students to forge ahead and never lie on the pile of achievements they have already made. Today's China is closer to the goal of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation than at any time in history. At this time, some young people give up their struggle, indulge in pleasure, get lost in the favorable living situation, get lost in the strange game life, give up the pursuit of realizing the value of life and social value, and forget their vows to serve the motherland and serve the people. As young teachers in the ideological and political science class, we must do everything possible to help students grasp the pulse of the development of the times, strive to be the vanguard of patriotic struggle, and actively respond to the opportunities and challenges brought to them by social development. Young people have great career opportunities, and the key is to take steady steps, lay a solid foundation, and work hard for a long time.
