Ye Maozhong is a veteran advertising and marketing expert and a collector of calligraphy and paintings. He studied painting as a teenager and studied under Tai Qiyou, Fang Yan, Huang Junshi and Wu Taizhi. Previously, the Long Museum (West Bund) launched the exhibition "Ye Mao Chinese Painting Exhibition", which exhibited more than 150 works, with Liu Yiqian, the founder of the Long Museum, as the curator. Zhao Xu, founder of Yongle Auction, said that Ye Maozhong's collection expanded from modern chinese paintings and calligraphy to modern and contemporary art, and later entered the collection of ancient Chinese paintings and calligraphy. In the past 20 years of collection, his research on Chinese painting has also reached a high point. His collection is dominated by Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong, Xu Beihong, and Fu Baoshi, drawing on the characteristics of these successful artists and achieving his own painting appearance. In this charity auction, all the works will be auctioned in the form of no reserve price, and all the proceeds of this auction will be donated to Xiangjing Studio in the name of Ye Maozhong to help more artists.
