Wang Shuyuan and "Rhododendron Mountain" (I): Abandoning learning from Congrong for the sake of serving the country, the melting pot boiling hot for the country to abandon learning from the Rong melting pot boiling hot

Wang Shuyuan's daughter took a proud picture of her father

In 1962, Tian Han was the president and Zhang Guangnian was the editor-in-chief of the "Script" monthly magazine "Script" monthly magazine October and November joint issue published a drama script - "Cuckoo Mountain", a new work on the theme of revolutionary history immediately attracted much attention. At the end of the year, the play took to the drama stage. Since then, it has been transplanted and adapted into commentaries, Peking opera, opera, dance drama, Huai opera, Yu opera, Yue opera, Huangmei opera, Hebei Zizi, Xuzhou Zizi, Hunan Flower Drum Opera, Donglu Flower Drum Opera, Qin Cavity, Qu Opera, Henan Opera, Cantonese Opera, Wu Opera, Sichuan Opera, Xiang Opera, Jin Opera, Pu Opera, Tin Opera, Long Opera, Chao Opera, Gui Opera, Zhuang Opera, Sichuan Qingyin, Color Tune Drama and many other local dramas, and Yanbian also transplanted the Korean "Rhododendron Mountain". Among them, the Peking Opera "Cuckoo Mountain" is extraordinary, especially after being filmed into an opera art film, whether it is a tortuous and legendary plot, a character with a distinct personality, a pleasant singing voice, or a delicate and evocative performance, a thrilling martial art and a unique poetic rhyme, all of which are pleasing to the eye. The script has been translated into English, French, Arabic, Korean, and has been performed abroad... To this day, the National Peking Opera House and the Peking Opera Troupe of various provinces and cities have repeatedly rehearsed and performed "Rhododendron Mountain", which is still deeply loved by the audience. Among them, many popular singing sections such as "Family Residence Anyuan" and "Chaotic Cloud Flying" have ups and downs, dignified and exciting, not only sung by famous artists in various large Peking Opera concerts, but also sung by opera fans as repertoire in the national Peking Opera competitions. "Rhododendron Mountain" also produced a 26-episode TV series, which premiered on Shandong Qilu TV station at the end of 2008. In recent years, "Home In Anyuan" has also frequently appeared in the song world in the art form of The Beijing Song Mixed Chorus... "Azalea Mountain" not only affected the stage, in the summer of 2011, the "Beacon Mountain" of Jinggang Mountain was also named "Azalea Mountain", and this admirable revolutionary base area became a red tourist destination, and every time the azaleas bloomed, tourists were weaving.

"Rhododendron Mountain" is famous, after more than half a century, it is still colorful, such as evergreen grass, but Wang Shuyuan, the author of the drama "Rhododendron Mountain", has long faded from vision, like floating clouds far away. Perhaps it is Mr. Wang Shuyuan's humility and low-key that makes many viewers "only watch the clouds break into flying rain, and do not let the clouds come from the bottom", so that some online materials will be the author of the drama "Cuckoo Mountain" Zhang Guanli Dai, and even falsely pass on the original attributes of "Cuckoo Mountain" as "based on a novel published in a local literary magazine "Wudou". So, how did this grand work of art of "red flag rolling up the serf's halberd" come about? Only by tracing the trajectory of Wang Shuyuan's life can we know how he created such a magnificent and magnificent work by stirring up clouds and rain, which is not only based on the original source, but perhaps, in the era when China is facing a "screenwriter's famine" and "script shortage", it is not without inspiration for young people with screenwriting dreams.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="43" > for the country to abandon school</h1>

There is a Mapeng village in Zhangqiu County, Shandong Province, and there is such a pair of poor brothers surnamed Wang in the village, who push a cart and sell salt from the sea to Shandong and northeast China. The brothers desperately tried their lives, a car, a wheel rutted, year after year, winter to spring, and exchanged beads of sweat for a vat of copper plates. In the end, they exchanged all this hard-earned money for fields and houses, and the brothers have since taken root here. With this family business, the sons of the Wang family no longer have to work like their fathers, they have become readers.

In feudal society, after the meritorious name was selected, a flagpole was erected in front of the ancestral hall or in front of the house to symbolize the meritorious name of this person. One of the sons of the Wang family was raised in this way by the flagpole of meritorious name. One of the brothers who raised the people was a member of the early Sun Yat-sen League, a democratic revolutionary, who specialized in law, and was known for defending people and upholding justice, and was given the nickname "Wang Tiezui". Wang Shuyuan is the grandson of "Wang Tiezui".

In the autumn of 1931, Wang Shuyuan was born in this wealthy peasant family filled with the smell of books, with the legacy of his ancestors to work hard to start a business and seek meritorious fame, Wang Shuyuan studied private school in the village since childhood, and later entered the MaPeng Primary School where his third uncle Wang Fengze was the principal. A few years later, Wang Shuyuan came to Jinan with his uncle and studied at the primary school attached to Jinan Zhengyi Middle School. Zhengyi Middle School was established in 1913, was the largest private middle school in Jinan at that time, and later added the first and second attached primary schools and high schools, and the school was co-founded by ju Simin, Wang Zhuchen, Gao Pengnian and other members of the former League. School-runrs tend to educate to save the country, dissatisfied with the stereotypes and bad habits of government-run schools, and create a new generation of democratic and progressive education. Celebrities in the field of education, such as Huang Yanpei, Tao Xingzhi, Zhang Boling, etc., have all been invited to speak at the school... In this school with distinct personality, Wang Shuyuan was enlightened by the good ideas of "nationality, democracy and progress" at a young age. After graduating from primary school, he was promoted to the best school in Jinan at that time, the Provincial Jinan Middle School (now Jinan No. 1 Middle School).

Jinan Middle School was founded in 1903, this school has a junior high school, high school, both the school conditions and the teaching staff are very strong. Wang Shuyuan has had an English class since the first year of junior high school, and the teacher is called Feng Shouzhi, this versatile teacher, not only has a high teaching level, but also cultivates a high level of student military bands, a complete band of foreign drums and trumpets, and the musical performance at the sports meeting is very brilliant and famous. Wang Shuyuan and his classmates like Teacher Feng and are very willing to take Teacher Feng's English class, so they are not tired and their grades are good. The straightforward Teacher Feng is very confident, and he often openly and proudly says: "I am a high-quality student who graduated from Columbia (Biya), and the students I teach are also high-quality students." "Once, an Indian diplomat visited Jinan Middle School, and all the teachers and students gathered in the large playground to welcome them. Teacher Feng selected Wang Shuyuan, who learned English well. Wang Shuyuan stood on a bench next to the Indian official, and the Indian official said a sentence, and Wang Shuyuan translated a sentence. "Hello students! I love you guys, your school is beautiful... Long live our friendship! A dozen short sentences were translated accurately and fluently by Wang Shuyuan, and after each translation, the students laughed and applauded, and the Indian official was also very happy. The young Wang Shuyuan was greatly encouraged and became more interested in learning English.

After the Japanese army invaded and occupied Jinan, it forcibly opened Japanese courses in various schools at all levels, and Japanese became a compulsory course for Wang Shuyuan. Once, Wang Shuyuan could not memorize the text, and the strict Japanese teacher ordered him to stand in front of the spittoon in the corner of the classroom for a long time, and this punishment station caused Wang Shuyuan's self-esteem to be greatly hurt. In order to escape the enslaved education in Japan, Wang Shuyuan returned to Zhangqiu Ma Peng Lida Middle School to study. The school, also known as the "Anti-Japanese Middle School", was founded by Zhai Yuwei, a Zhangqiu man who threw pens after beijing normal university students threw pens from Rong, and the principal was Chen Huiwen, a teacher whom Zhai Yuwei admired and who graduated from the history department of Peking University in his early years. The school is a closed education, with a high level of teachers, a complete curriculum, a neat and quiet school building, and a strong learning atmosphere. Students attend classes during the day and study in the evening, and first-level students can complete three years of courses in two years. Studying here, Wang Shuyuan's studies have made great progress. A year later, Wang Shuyuan returned to Jinan Zhengyi Middle School, enrolled in the third grade, and was admitted to the provincial Jinan Middle School High School with excellent results after graduation.

Jinan Middle School was founded by Liu Guansan, a member of the Early League, this pioneer of the democratic revolution put the pursuit of revolution, democracy, and science throughout the school, under the influence of progressive ideological education, Wang Shuyuan's learning goals are more ambitious, he wants to use the knowledge he learned to build the Three Gorges Dam, to build atomic bombs, to mine... Wang Shuyuan has the grand ideal of saving the country through science, is eager to learn, strives to be upstream, and his mathematical, physical, chemical and English scores are always among the best.

In addition to loving to learn, Wang Shuyuan also loves opera, rather than being interested in opera, it is better to say that the only thing That Wang Shuyuan could see in the countryside at that time was a single opera. At that time, the primary school of the old family was located in the broken temple of the village. Every Sunday and on the night of the New Year's Festival, the teacher's office in the broken temple is bustling, and the teachers and students of the primary school in the nearby village also come to join in the fun. They pulled up Jinghu, ripped open their throats, sang a big drama, and reverberated all over the street. At this time, Wang Shuyuan and his friends would drop their rice bowls and run, crowd out the window to listen, and look at the cracks in the door, very happy. The teacher had a machine there, and when he shook it with his hand, he could sing a lot. Wang Shuyuan listened to Ma Lianliang's "Borrowing the East Wind" here, as well as "Dingjun Mountain", "Qing Guan's Book", "Catch and Release Cao", and so on, and this singing machine aroused Wang Shuyuan's strong curiosity. The teacher put it every three to five days, and he went to listen to it at both ends of the three days, and he also learned to sing. There is a grass platform team in the village to act, and Wang Shuyuan does not let go, so that these "art appreciations" make Wang Shuyuan not only learn to sing Peking Opera, but also learn to sing and talk about cross-talk... Opera rap activates the artistic cells of this rural child, and compared with ordinary people, Wang Shuyuan is not only intelligent and studious, but also has a high level of understanding.

The artistic seeds that Wang Shuyuan sowed in his heart when he was young began to germinate in jinan middle school, a land with profound cultural heritage. There are many student theater fans here, Wang Shuyuan's classmate Ouyang Zhongshi is one of them, because Ouyang Zhongshi worshiped under Xi Xiaobo to learn opera, and Beijing opera sang very well, so everyone looked at him differently and was willing to learn to sing with him. Once, the fans and classmates sang together with great interest, Wang Shuyuan also opened his voice and sang a large section of the singing voice in "Catching and Releasing Cao", singing and singing on the wrong board, Ouyang Zhongshi, who was sitting at the back table, immediately reached out and patted his shoulder to interrupt him: "Oh, hey, hey, wrong, wrong, grab a glance." "Then seriously and sincerely correct little by little and take him to sing... Wang Shuyuan and Ouyang Zhongshi, a pair of simple, warm and friendly young people, formed an innocent friendship in your singing and teaching. At the party commemorating the victory of the War of Resistance, they also performed a play "Catch and Release Cao". Teacher Zhang, who teaches music, plays Cao Cao, Ouyang Zhongshi plays Chen Gong, Wang Shuyuan plays Lü Bohao...

Participating in literary and artistic activities is only to entertain the body and mind, and reading to save the country is wang Shuyuan's lofty ambition that he has never forgotten. In 1948, after the liberation of Jinan, many books were added to the school library to publicize the revolution, and the military representatives stationed in the school also brought many new books, which the students rushed to read. Zhuang Zizheng, a military representative, was serving as the instructor of the students, he was dressed in a military uniform, his majesty was solemn, and every time he gave a speech, the students looked up and stared, admiring and envying this heroic teacher Zhuang in their hearts. Teacher Zhuang told everyone, "Don't you want to dig coal for minerals, build atomic bombs, build ports, build dams, and use science to save the country?" All this, in the future, we must do it! But not now, now we must first revolutionize, overthrow the three mountains, fight to Jiangnan, and liberate all of China! This is the most important thing at the moment..." This impassioned speech broke the calm of the campus again and again.

The campus poster has new content, the speech has new ideas, and when the word "revolution" is mentioned, the students will immediately burst out with enthusiasm. The school also set up a student union, Wang Shuyuan can sing and dance, versatile, served as the propaganda director, and as a representative of the rear students, participated in the Huaihai frontline condolence group jointly organized by all sectors of society. In the front-line garrison, they participated in condolence performances at night and went deep into the company during the day to listen to reports on the heroic exemplary deeds. The soldiers in the front bravely killed the enemy, and the people in the rear bravely supported the front, and one heroic story after another made Wang Shuyuan spend every day in a moving mood. There is a deed that deeply inspired Wang Shuyuan, Shandong Jiaodong compatriots in order to support the People's Liberation Army, with a small car to transport grain from Jiaodong to the front line, they hung a large pot of cakes on their chests, hungry to take a bite, rather hungry intestines, grain particles do not move, all sent to the Huaihai front ... Inspired by these exemplary figures, Wang Shuyuan repeatedly asked himself, he was a student, what actions should he take to support the revolution?

On the day of the end of the condolences, Wang Shuyuan and his classmates could no longer contain the surging passion of yearning for revolution, saying that at the moment of tearing down the three mountains and liberating all of China, how could we still sit in school and study so firmly?! They insisted on staying on the front lines. The leaders of the troops enlightened them, you are the representatives of the people in the rear, you still have to go back and tell the students of the school about the war in the front, and your task is also very important!

After returning to the school to complete the propaganda task, Wang Shuyuan's mood was still difficult to calm down, and he was bent on joining the revolutionary contingent. At this time, a new and loud name impressed Wang Shuyuan - "Xin'an Tour Group".

On October 22, 1933, Wang Dazhi, a student of educator Tao Xingzhi and principal of Xin'an Primary School under the Huai'an River in northern Jiangsu Province, formed a "Xin'an Children's Tour Group" with 7 students from Xin'an Primary School, and traveled from Huai'an to Shanghai via Zhenjiang for more than 50 days. Not only that, they also gave patriotic speeches at universities in Hujiang, Guanghua, Daxia and other universities, visited factories, visited shantytowns, learned about the concessions, and accepted and spread patriotism by hanging the relics of the "1.28" battlefield. This lively and vivid way of education won the title "This is a pioneering achievement in the history of Chinese education!" Praise. The extraordinary significance of this trip made Wang Dazhi think more deeply: as the national difficulties became more and more serious, a larger group should be organized to go on study trips throughout the country to publicize the anti-Japanese struggle to save the country, and to practice the "idea of life education" in the big classroom of the national liberation struggle. This initiative was strongly supported by the Shanghai Left-Wing Teachers' Federation Branch of the Communist Party of China and fully sponsored by Tao Xingzhi. Therefore, in October 1935, 14 students from Xin'an Primary School formed a Xin'an tour group, and President Wang led a group of 14 people, the oldest 17 years old and the youngest 12 years old, to practice the new educational theory of "life is education, society is school" advocated by Tao Xingzhi, practicing Sun Yat-sen's legacy of "must arouse the people to go to the country together" and the Chinese Communist Party's "shoulder the rise and fall of the world" anti-Japanese salvation proposition. Starting with a minimalist outfit with only one single dress, one pair of straw shoes and one umbrella per person, we will go to society without hesitation. In the baptism of the anti-Japanese flame, this children's revolutionary group continued to grow and develop. During the Liberation War, they moved to the north and south with the East China Field Army, and by September 1946, there were already more than 100 Xin'an tour groups with the East China Field Army going north to Shandong, and after the Huaihai Campaign, the East China Field Army was officially reorganized into the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. In April 1949, the Xin'an Tour Group set out from Jinan with the Third Field Army and embarked on a new journey to liberate all of China.

At that time, Wang Shuyuan and a classmate learned that the Xin'an Tour Group in the Third Field Army was a literary and artistic unit, and the soldiers were very young... They decided to go to the unit. At this time, the team has set off for the south, where to find it? So, they found the left-behind personnel of the army's education department in Jinan, talked about their resumes and ideas, and sang a song to each other. The left-behind personnel were touched by their youthful enthusiasm and told them that they would catch up with the troops along the Jinpu railway line. They were very excited, and hurried home to pack their simple bags, and Wang Shuyuan did not forget to bring his beloved fountain pen. Following the instructions, they walked all the way. The railway was being bombed by Nationalist planes, and the rumbling of artillery in the distance could sometimes be heard. Joining the army to serve the country, anxious, the two enthusiastic young people who still had to take care of danger and difficulties, they braved artillery fire, endured hunger and thirst, took a car when they had a car, walked without a car, and a day or two later, the wind and dust rushed to TengXian County, Shandong Province, and finally caught up with the stuffy tank car of the Xin'an tour group stranded by the railway explosion. They shouted loudly to the people in the car, "We are students in Jinan, we want to join the Xin'an tour group!" "You better go back and study well!" We don't go back! We have come here to join your troops! Comrade Sun, the old comrade of the tour group, was impressed by their blazing heat and firmness, stretched out his hands, pulled hard, and the pair of young students got on the car. Since then, they have become PLA fighters of the Xin'an Tour Group.

Seventeen or eighteen-year-old Wang Shuyuan, flesh and blood, full of vigor, with simple feelings and persistent faith, unswervingly handed over the youth Shaohua to the revolutionary army, with the ideal of saving the country and strengthening the country, bravely set out!

The clarion call to liberate all of China has been sounded, the battle to cross the river has begun, and the life of the Xin'an tour group is not only fiery, but also difficult. After the troops arrived at Xin'an Town through Xuzhou, they began a rapid march on foot, walking about ten miles per hour, they traveled day and night, the wind and food were sleeping, everyone's feet were blistered, and many of the regiment members were still teenagers, but no one was willing to fall behind. Although Li Zhonglin and Chen Jie, who were walking next to Wang Shuyuan, were short, they were very concerned about him, an older and tall recruit, and asked Wang Shuyuan if he was tired and wanted to go home as he walked. They carried large backpacks themselves, and they rushed to help him carry the backpack, which made Wang Shuyuan very moved, and he felt that he had really taken the right way to come to such a warm revolutionary unit...

After Wang Shuyuan joined the army, he has always longed to carry a gun, but he is a new soldier, he is not yet qualified to carry a gun, on the way to the march, the little soldier named Li Zhonglin, is the son of an anti-Japanese martyr, he joined the army at a very young age, although he is short and thin, but he carries the majestic appearance of three or eight big cover guns, which makes Wang Shuyuan envious in his heart. Wang Shuyuan quietly begged him, wanting to carry his gun, Li Zhonglin secretly handed him the gun when the squad leader could not see, Wang Shuyuan happily walked with the gun on his back, but after taking a few steps, he had to quickly return it to him, just like this, Wang Shuyuan quietly passed several times of gun addiction, which made Wang Shuyuan feel a little happy and satisfied in the arduous march.

After the troops arrived in Huai'an, they rested, and the task of the Xin'an Tour Group was to rehearse the program and prepare for the literary and artistic propaganda performances that would enter Nanjing and Shanghai. Wang Shuyuan is very talented, slender, fair-skinned, handsome and elegant, not only has a dignified appearance, but also has a good voice and can punch. As a literary and artistic warrior, Wang Shuyuan, who can sing and dance, has potential and qualifications, and the leader of the Xin'an Tour Group has a lot of vision, and decides to let him be an actor and immediately participate in the rehearsal of the small drama.

The first play that Wang Shuyuan participated in rehearsal was about the story of our armed workers' team posting revolutionary slogans in the Kuomintang district. Sun Qingyue (Sun Xiaoping) plays the old village chief, Shu Qiao plays a child league member, and Wang Shuyuan plays a timid sentinel of the Kuomintang troops. The plot of his stage performance is very simple, the Kuomintang sentry wants to capture the small eighth road that wrote the slogan, but he becomes a prisoner of the Eighth Route Army and is taken down... Although it was such a small performance, this was Wang Shuyuan's first official acting after joining the army, and he was worried that he would not be able to act well. The director saw that he was very nervous, and told him that all you had to do was take a gun and look scared. The old comrades in the regiment instructed him to experience life according to the theory of the Soviet Stanley performance system. How can you experience this state of mind of fear? He had heard that there was a landlord's manor near the garrison, which had been broken in the war, and there was a graveyard next to it. So, in the middle of the night, he secretly went to experience life alone.

Wang Shuyuan stepped into the deep courtyard, the rubble and ruins were in a mess, the bluestone slab road was blown up unevenly, stepping on the ground with sharp feet, he was on his toes, it was difficult to walk, and he did not go far but sat down on the ground. In the darkness and dead silence, he suddenly thought of the "ghost", he couldn't help but be terrified, hurriedly stood up and ran back, without taking two steps, he fell with his head, his head hit the hard and sharp gravel, he suddenly felt a cold sweat on his face, and he couldn't care less about wiping it and hurried back to the camp. Just when he wanted to sneak into the bed, he was discovered by the group leader Sun Qingyue, watching him creep back from outside in the middle of the night, the group leader felt very strange, so he came over to inquire, a look, a touch, a surprise: "Oh, how come your face is full of blood?" Wang Shuyuan knew that his face was not sweating but blood, so he had to honestly "explain" the original committee to the group leader. More than a month later, Wang Shuyuan's nose bridge was forever left with a small crescent scar, which became an unforgettable mark for him to officially start his acting career.

In April 1949, the People's Liberation Army broke through the Yangtze River to conquer Nanjing, but did not attack Shanghai with all its might. Instead, it was assembled and reorganized in the area south of Wuxing and west of Suzhou, so why did the clarion call for progress stop abruptly? It turned out that as early as a month ago, at the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Mao Zedong pointed out: Shanghai is China's only international trading city, and it is necessary to let this world famous city return to the hands of the people relatively well. It is best to fight Shanghai peacefully and liberate it, so that the destruction of Shanghai is minimized... After the Xin'an tour group crossed the river to Nanjing with the southward army, it arrived in Danyang and began the rectification training on the eve of the march into Shanghai.

On that day, in the damp bamboo hut, the members of the Xin'an Tour Group sat on small bamboo benches and listened to the mobilization report of Commander Chen Yi coming from the loudspeaker, and Chen Yi figuratively compared hitting Shanghai to "catching rats in a porcelain shop", saying that it was necessary to catch rats without destroying porcelain. He solemnly and humorously affirmed discipline, demanded that all commanders and fighters march into Shanghai with a new style, and gave special "meeting gifts" to Shanghai citizens... Since then, the rectification and training units have studied the "Three Major Disciplines and Eight Points of Attention" every day, and recited the "Ten Rules of the Three Major Conventions on Entering the City" sentence by sentence. The weather was rainy, the venue was muddy, and they were wrapped in sweat from the rain, so they not only rehearsed the small songs and dances "Wang Da Niang Rushing to the Market", "Husband and Wife Literacy", "Brothers and Sisters Opening the Wasteland", "Fair Trade", "Iron Tree Blossoming", "Rice Song and Dance", but also danced the "Liberation Flower Drum" and "Victory Waist Drum" of nearly 100 people with great vigor and neatness, and played neatly and loudly. They pulled up erhu made with shell shells, snakeskin, and ponytails, and the music was melodious. Loosen the two strings of the two violins that no one can pull, carry them on the shoulders, simulate the erhu playing method, and also pull out a beautiful melody... A month of training life, unity, tension, seriousness, liveliness. In order to welcome the long-awaited victory, Wang Shuyuan and his comrades-in-arms contributed all their wisdom, diligence, enthusiasm, and simple loyalty. Here, they sweat every day and harvest happiness.

At the end of May 1949, No. 1449 Linsen Middle Road (now No. 1431 Huaihai Middle Road) in Shanghai welcomed new guests - more than 100 members of the Xin'an Tour Group wearing the bright red "Shanghai Military Control Commission" armband, and this gorgeous and elegant Italian architectural style garden house suddenly became lively. I remember that in the mid-1930s, this was the Spanish consulate, and later it was the residence of the Kuomintang dignitaries' residence and the Kuomintang Ministry of National Defense's "Long Live China Theater Troupe". Today, under the deployment of the Shanghai Municipal Military Control Commission's Literary and Art Office, it has become the residence of the Xin'an Tour Group of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The smooth and shiny floor in the building is a large bed, a blanket is laid out, and you fall asleep; the green lawn in the courtyard is the rehearsal field, practicing and dancing, comfortable and spacious. Staying in such a luxurious and romantic place for the first time, the "kids" of Xin'an Tour Group were thrilled and excited!

Celebrating the liberation of Shanghai, the Xin'an Tour Group's daily rehearsals and performances are fully arranged. When the wake-up call did not sound, the practice of breathing, the practice of fingering exercises, and the bending down and pressing of legs in the large garden trees quietly began, and when the wake-up call sounded, the piano and song immediately rose and fell; they created and arranged song and dance programs such as "Building New Shanghai" and other song and dance programs, and sometimes even performed two or three times a day. At that time, the bright national costumes, cheerful national music, mighty drums, and unrestrained songs and dances accompanied the people's joy and joy, conveyed the good news of the victory of the revolution, and rendered the great Shanghai of the Ten Mile Ocean Field as hot as a flame!

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhang Tuo, the leader of the Xin'an Tour Group, came to Shulu County, Hebei Province, with 8 regiment members, and learned the northern Shaanxi waist drum from the teachers of the Yan'an Lu Xun Art Institute merged into the North China Union University. We must beat the waist drum all over East China, across the Yangtze River, and into Shanghai! Today, they are practicing Chen Yi's instructions, and their footprints are not only all over the factory, school, suburbs, streets, but also into the major theaters in Shanghai.

The first time on the palatial stage, Wang Shuyuan's mood could not help but be excited and nervous, there was a "flower drum" group dance program, in front of the two boys and girls playing the flower drum, while playing and singing, walking "two dragons spit whiskers", opposite out. The boy flower drum is played by Wang Shuyuan. As soon as the lights came on, Wang Shuyuan, who had never experienced such a brilliant stage, was suddenly dazzled, and collided with the oncoming actress in a hurry. The Shanghai audience, who had a good feeling for the People's Liberation Army, did not boo, and they still responded with enthusiastic applause after laughing happily. This embarrassing "crash" left an unforgettable joke for Wang Shuyuan to start walking on the regular stage.

"Chinese Drama" serializes this article

On July 6, 1949, Shanghai ushered in the most solemn moment, the opening ceremony to liberate Shanghai began solemnly, and the parade of 300,000 people was huge, singing and dancing all the way. In the waist drum team of the Xin'an Tour Group, the tall and handsome Wang Shuyuan served as the drummer, and he raised his arms and beat the drum hard, "Bang Bang". Their "March into the Flower Drum" and "Victory Waist Drum" are majestic and unstoppable, and the sonorous drums sound from Linsen Middle Road to Nanjing Road, reverberating in the air of Shanghai for a long time...

On the day, heavy rain suddenly fell, but it did not stop the team from moving forward. Chen Yi, the new director of the Shanghai Municipal Military Control Commission and mayor of Shanghai, loves these "dolls" of the Xin'an tour group drumming in the rain. In the evening, he specially sent Huang Yuan, head of the Literary and Art Department of the Shanghai Municipal Military Control Commission, to invite everyone to the 14th floor of the International Hotel and cordially said to everyone: "You have worked hard, your bodies are wet, take a quick rest." Seeing you leaping on Nanjing Road, I am very popular with the masses, and on behalf of the municipal government and the people of Shanghai, I thank you. I hope that you will maintain and carry forward the spirit of dragons and tigers and make more contributions to the construction of new Shanghai! Saying, Chen Yi pointed to the cream cake and coffee on the table, and greeted everyone kindly, "Come, come, eat cake, open foreign meat, tonight I will entertain representatives from all walks of life in Shanghai, and I will ask you to perform a few small programs to help the banquet." This is the first time that the "baby soldiers" who have come from the harsh environment have eaten pastry and had dinner with their beloved Elder Chen, so that they have forgotten their fatigue and forgotten the rain...

Wang Shuyuan remembered the sweet cake and coffee, and more firmly remembered Mayor Chen Yi's voice and smile and his far-reaching instructions and hopes!
