The ratings of the second episode of iQiyi's original Korean drama "Zhiyi Mountain" directly broke the double digits, in which it was revealed that the ranger played by Quan Jixian was destroyed by the flash flood that broke out in Zhiyi Mountain when he was a child, and he lost his parents at an early age. In fact, this is based on a real event, in 1998, due to the collapse of the flood control dam of Zhiyi Mountain due to heavy rain and tofu residue, many families camping downstream were washed away, and many disaster relief personnel were killed, a total of 103 people were killed, known as the "Zhiyi Mountain Massacre".

In the plot of the second episode, all the villagers came to the villagers' canteen to worship and eat together, and the object of the sacrifice was the villagers who died in the summer of 1995 because of the flash flood, and on the night of the incident, it fell 200 mm of exceptionally heavy rainstorm, causing the largest flash flood in history, because it was the summer vacation peak season, it was a weekend, many tourists went up the mountain to escape the heat, and the people who went to the rescue even sacrificed their lives or disappeared, more than 100 people were killed.
This period of history is in line with the real "Zhiyi Mountain Massacre" in 1998, when a 100 mm torrential rain suddenly fell from the evening of July 31 to the early morning of August 1, especially in the Dayuan temple valley reached 262 mm, and the Amount of rain in the Jitian Valley reached 300 mm, instantly washing away local villagers and campers, and 68 people died and 10 people disappeared near Guangzhi Mountain.

The low-lying bridge connecting Mt. Tomoji was flooded at the same time, and some of the campervans that crossed the Tokugawa River to prepare for refuge were swept away by the instantly rising river, many campers were even halfway through their sleep and washed away, and many of the victims were wiped out by their entire families or escaped on their own, only to see their loved ones killed.
