According to The Athletic reporter Shams Charania, striker Stanley Johnson has agreed to sign a one-year contract with the Bulls.
The 25-year-old Johnson, the No. 8 rookie of 2015, started his career at the Pistons but did not develop far short of expectations, playing for the Raptors in the past two years, including an average of 4.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in the past 2020-21 season.
However, in a game against the Bulls in May, Johnson scored a career-high 35 points, and perhaps it was this ball that impressed the opponent.
