According to Pistons reporter James Edwards III, the Pistons have cut Derek Wharton, Jared Cunningham and Cassius Stanley.

The reporter also added that all three players have the opportunity to fight for the team's G League team place.

All three players have not made a record appearance in previous preseason games.
