According to the 2023 Consultation Work Plan of the District Party Committee, District Government and District CPPCC, on the afternoon of July 11, the CPPCC Shibei District organized some CPPCC members at the city and district levels to carry out a supervisory inspection of "strengthening the legal supervision of procuratorial organs in the new era", and the inspection was carried out in a combination of on-site inspection and discussion and exchange. Zhao Xun, full-time member of the CPPCC Standing Committee, Song Ximin, director of the CPPCC Social and Legal Affairs Office, and other CPPCC leaders attended the meeting; Chen Zhongwei, secretary of the CPPCC regional party group and chairman, attended the inspection and presided over the forum; Yuan Lixin, deputy secretary and vice chairman of the CPPCC district party group; and Dong Hongyao, secretary of the leading party group and chief procurator of the district procuratorate, accompanied the inspection.
The inspection group inspected the office of the district procuratorate, held a symposium, watched the demonstration of the "12345" hotline series supervision model and the false litigation supervision model, and listened to a briefing on the work of strengthening the legal supervision of procuratorial organs in the new era on civil, administrative, and public interest litigation. CPPCC leaders made comments.
The meeting held that the opinions and suggestions put forward by the committee members were pragmatic, pertinent and realistic, and the entire inspection reflected the CPPCC Shibei District and the members' sense of responsibility and performance of duties around the center and serving the overall situation.
The meeting emphasized that the "Opinions on Strengthening the Legal Supervision of Procuratorial Organs in the New Era" fully demonstrates the firm determination of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core to deeply promote the comprehensive rule of law, attaches great importance to improving the supervision system of the Party and the state, especially the legal supervision work of procuratorial organs, and is a programmatic document for procuratorial organs to carry out legal supervision work in the new era.
The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to give play to the role of the special consultative body of the CPPCC and explore the establishment of a work cooperation mechanism for the democratic supervision of the CPPCC and the legal supervision of the procuratorial organs to support each other and complement each other's advantages. CPPCC organizations and CPPCC members should give play to their own advantages and more accurately transmit the temperature of fairness and justice embodied in the legal supervision of procuratorial organs to the masses in various sectors.
