After the inauguration ceremony, Academician Zheng presided over the pancreatic intestinal resection of patients with postoperative cancerous intrapancreatic ductal mucus adenoma; Professor Ren Jian'an, a well-known expert in gastrointestinal surgery in China, presided over the demonstration meeting of the development plan of gastrointestinal surgery, and prescribed a systematic "prescription" of "five ones" for the construction of the featured center.
In 2018, the hospital carried out integrated development with Shulan Medical. Focusing on the goal of building Chongqing's first-class general surgery center and western intestinal fistula and abdominal severe diagnosis and treatment center, Shulan Medical has invested the most powerful team of experts, and Academician Zheng Shusen alone has visited the hospital 11 times to preside over surgical and disciplinary development research.
