A few days ago, we obtained the interior official picture of the new SUV model eQ7 from Chery New Energy official, which was previously unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show and positioned as a compact pure electric SUV, based on an all-aluminum platform, integrated die-casting molding, and after the launch to compete for the BYD Song PLUS EV.
The interior of the new car adopts a wrap-around layout, providing black rice and black and blue two colors, equipped with the popular 24.6-inch floating integrated dual screen, with a three-piece multi-function steering wheel and pocket gear shift device, which is also the latest interior design of Chery New Energy family, Chery New Energy should adopt this set of interiors in the future.
On this basis, the center console of Chery eQ7 is covered with wood grain trim, supplemented by chrome trim and stitching process throughout, superimposed with 64-color ambient light strips, and the grade is further improved. The central armrest area provides cup holders and wireless charging panels, and the co-pilot has the queen's co-pilot, supporting functions such as seat massage and electric leg rests.
Looking back at the appearance of the eQ7, the front of the new car adopts the closed front face commonly used in trams, with narrow daytime running light strips embedded on both sides of the cover, and high and low beams hidden in the triangular fog lamp area, with a rounded trapezoidal lower grille and black front lip, highlighting a good sense of sportiness.
The multi-segment dynamic waistline on the side of the body is very similar to that of the big ant, with a two-tone body design with a suspended roof, and the lower edge of the rear window is slightly raised, which has a good sporty feel. The rear part of the car adopts blackened through-type taillights, and the two ends of the taillights also derive dot matrix light sources, which have a certain degree of recognition, and the rear surround part is decorated with imitation vents.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the eQ7 are 4675/1910/1660mm, and the wheelbase is 2830mm, which is 45mm longer and 5mm lower than the Big Ant, and the wheelbase and width are the same.
In terms of power, combined with the declaration information, the new car will be equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 155 kW, matched with a 67.12kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, and the WLTC pure electric cruising range is 515 km.
It is worth mentioning that Chery eQ7 adopts an all-aluminum body, the body frame is reduced by 30%, and the curb weight is only 1850kg. For reference, the pure electric cruising range of the same class model Song PLUS EV is 505km (NEDC condition, the test standard is lower than WLTC condition), the curb weight is 1950kg, Chery eQ7 weight is lower, the endurance is much more, do you think the eQ7 can win the Song Plus EV?
