Liu Zhidan was sacrificed
When the main force of the Red Army experienced difficulties and obstacles and arrived at the base area in northern Shaanxi, Liu Zhidan's mission in northern Shaanxi basically came to an end, so in March 1936, our party appointed Liu Zhidan as the commander of the 25th Army and asked him to lead the team to Shanxi to resist the invasion of the Japanese army. When the team reached Shanxi, before they could engage the Japanese head-on, they were attacked by the Jin army. In the battle against the Jin army, under the command of Liu Zhidan, our army won successive victories and greatly frustrated the vigor of the Jin army.
At the Battle of Zhongyang County, Liu Zhidan encountered a strong opponent against the 206th Brigade of the Jin Army, which was a formidable force in the Jin Army, and later renamed the Independent Brigade. In the face of a powerful opponent, Liu Zhidan did not have the slightest fear, still calmly commanding the battle on the front line, and when the enemy and we were fighting anxiously, unexpected things happened, Liu Zhidan was hit by the enemy's ammunition and sacrificed on the battlefield.
Shi Zebo killed Liu Zhidan

The person who killed Liu Zhidan was Shi Zebo, who was the commander of the second battalion of the 206th Brigade at that time, this person was extremely capable, he knew that Liu Zhidan was an important general of our army, and if Liu Zhidan was eliminated, it was bound to have a certain impact on our army, so when the two armies fought, he took advantage of the chaos in the scene and shot several shots at Liu Zhidan and killed him.
Upon hearing the news of Liu Zhidan's sacrifice, our party was very saddened, and the whole army unanimously decided to avenge Liu Zhidan. While the Red Army was still grieving over Liu Zhidan's sacrifice, Shi Zebo had made a great contribution to killing an important general of the Red Army, and the Jin army promoted him to the commander of the 412 regiment in recognition of him. Just when the Red Army was about to take revenge, the Japanese army launched a full-scale war of aggression against China, and in order to resist the aggression of the Japanese army, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated for the second time, so the matter of avenging Liu Zhidan could only be put aside first.

Shi Zebo has been smart and sensible since he was a child, and he loves learning very much, and when he studied in the private school in the village, he studied very hard, because he knew that the opportunity to learn was not easy to come by, and he did not want to live up to the expectations of his parents.
After graduating from private school, Shi Zebo was admitted to the high school hall of Xianxian County, in the entire high school stage, Shi Zebo's academic performance has always been ranked in the top few positions, and later he was admitted to the Hejian County Provincial Middle School with excellent results, after graduating from high school, in order to reduce the burden on his family, he did not plan to continue to take the university entrance examination, but applied for the Baoding Military Academy and became an infantry military cadet. After completing his studies, Shi Zebo became a probationary officer and officially began his military career.
After entering the army, Shi Zebo experienced many wars, from warlord melee to the Northern Expedition, he not only accumulated rich combat experience, but also made no small merit, and his official position was gradually rising, from the initial trainee officer to the battalion commander, and then to the later regimental commander, which is enough to prove that Shi Zebo is an excellent military talent. After the Outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Shi Zebo led his army to the north of Shanxi to fight against the Japanese army. After Shi Zebo's team arrived at the battlefield, they engaged in a fierce battle with the Japanese army.
At that time, the Japanese offensive was very fierce, with planes in the sky and artillery on the ground, frantically bombing Shi Zebo's team. Shi Zebo's team was gradually at a disadvantage, but he was not afraid at all, and stubbornly held out for three days without eating. After receiving instructions from his superiors, he led his team to withdraw near Datong, and from this battle, it could be seen that the overall combat effectiveness of Shi Zebo's team was indeed strong.
In the Battle of Xinkou, the Nationalist army wanted to capture a commanding height of the Japanese army, and successively invested eight regiments of military strength, but the result was that they could not be defeated, and they also sacrificed a commander, which can be described as a heavy loss. In this case, the Nationalist army had to send Shi Zebo's team to retake the highest point occupied by the Japanese army. Shi Zebo first understood the situation of the Japanese army, and then made a strategic deployment, he placed five mortars in the most advantageous place, each cannon prepared twenty shells, and fired at the Japanese army one after another, and finally the Japanese army was unable to bomb wildly and could only retreat.
Later, when Shi Zebo confronted the Japanese army in Zhongyang County, he also won victories, and also captured a lot of weapons and equipment, and won victories in important battles one after another, making Shi Zebo famous in the Nationalist army and becoming a hot anti-Japanese general, and was soon promoted to the commander of the 19th Army.

After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, relations between the Kuomintang and the Communists broke down, and soon entered a civil war. In the Battle of Shangdang, Shi Zebo encountered Chen Geng, and after several rounds of fighting between the two sides, Shi Zebo was quickly defeated and finally captured by Chen Geng. Although Shi Zebo killed Liu Zhidan, our party did not shoot him to avenge him, for reasons that everyone understands, because he made great achievements in the War of Resistance Against Japan. Two years later, Shi Zebo was let go by our party, and he returned to the Jin army, but Yan Xishan no longer trusted him.
After liberation, Shi Zebo could only go home to farm, and later learned acupuncture and moxibustion, and made a living by treating others. Although our party did not want his life, Shi Zebo's fate was also quite miserable, and it can be seen from this that the original decision was really clever.
