Myanmar landed on the hot search, not because of tourism, but because Chinese citizens disappeared one after another

Recently, Myanmar has been on China's hot search, not to travel there, but a succession of Chinese citizens have disappeared after being deceived, and for a while the Chinese people mentioned that "Myanmar" changed color. Especially in the north of Myanmar, it is a base camp for fraud, trafficking, gambling and drugs, which is not the paradise advertised in the "advertisement", but a hell on earth that can make people have no return.

According to media reports, four students from a certain place in Anhui Province were lured by strange netizens to work in Myanmar on March 8, one of whom was persuaded to return on the way, and the other three were smuggled to Myanmar with "scammers" and lost their freedom. Shortly after the four students returned home safely, it was reported on the Internet that four more guys in Guangxi had disappeared after being tricked into Myanmar.

In early March, it was reported on the Internet that a company called "Kekong Electric" in Baoding, Hebei Province, released overseas recruitment information to bring more than 80 people to Thailand and prepared to send them to Myanmar, and some company leaders and some family members of the personnel have reported the case to the police.

Coincidentally, The Paper reported on March 23: Recently, Ms. Tang, who lives in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, told The Paper that her 15-year-old son had been away from home for more than a month, during which he had sent her a message saying that "someone took him to smuggle him out to earn high wages", and disappeared after being controlled. According to preliminary information from the Chengdu police, the teenager was smuggled out of the country and into Myanmar.

I have read a lot of news about Myanmar before, and Li ×, who owed 170,000 yuan in loans to his customers, was unfortunately deceived to Yunnan, and then kidnapped and sold to a telecommunications fraud company in Myanmar and lost his personal freedom. There is also Chen × from Jiangxi, who was lured by a high-paying advertisement to Myanmar to engage in telecommunications fraud, and then had his tongue cut off after repeated unsuccessful escapes.

It is said that the vast majority of Chinese citizens who have been deceived into reaching Myanmar, with the exception of a very few who have escaped or been rescued, have lost their freedom or disappeared and have been killed. Male citizens who were deceived into coming to Myanmar were often forced to engage in telecommunications fraud, while female citizens were trafficked or forced into prostitution after being humiliated.

Why are so many victims deceived into going to Myanmar to lose their freedom, and the most is Chinese? As the saying goes, greed for cheap and suffer big losses are all driven by profit to be deceived. China's Yunnan borders the north of Myanmar, and many of the deceived people are smuggled into Myanmar through the Yunnan China-Myanmar border. Many Chinese in northern Myanmar make a living and do business there, and some have taken refuge to escape criminal responsibility.

Although northern Myanmar is part of Myanmar, it is in fact independent of armed secession zones under the control of the Burmese government. Northern Myanmar refers to the Kachin State, Kokang, Wa State, Shan State and other areas in Myanmar, among which Kokang, Xiao Meng La and other places are in the well-known three-way zone - the Golden Triangle, where there are various armed forces, and many Chinese and Thais and Laos live for a long time. The Myanmar government is powerless to control it, and local factions are so powerful that the local police sometimes turn a blind eye.

In fact, the reason why so many Chinese have been deceived is mainly because of the collusion between many Chinese people and local criminal organizations or groups in Myanmar.

While the relevant departments of our government are strengthening the crackdown on such cases (especially those involving fraud and smuggling at home and abroad), the people should keep their eyes open and be vigilant, so as not to be deceived and bring personal and property injuries and losses to themselves and their families.

Myanmar is not a paradise for ordinary people to earn money and make a fortune, but a paradise for criminals to go unpunished, and a hell for ordinary people to never return.
