NetEase acquired Grasshopper Studios, the developer of the "Heroes No More" series founded by Tsuyoshi Suda

Grasshopper Studios, founded by Tsuyoshi Suda, announced that NetEase Games has acquired Grasshopper Studios from GungHo Online Entertainment, and the equity transfer agreement was signed on May 31 this year. Tsuyoshi Suda also made the announcement on his social media accounts.

Suda said in the announcement that NetEase will provide advice for the studio's business planning, provide sufficient funds for game development, and provide personnel support in terms of art and quality assurance; the studio will continue to be responsible for the creation and production of the game, ensure that it can maintain the consistent "grasshopper production style" and game quality, and strive to provide players with 3 high-quality "grasshopper production" games in the next ten years.

NetEase mentioned in the announcement that it hopes to give Grasshopper Studio creative freedom and sufficient resource support to enable Grasshopper Studio to create more excellent works.
