On the afternoon of October 21, Wang Yang, secretary of the district party committee, went deep into Taoyuan, Taobei, Taoshan and other streets to investigate the progress of the city's comprehensive improvement work. Lei Zaiheng, deputy district governor of the district government, and responsible comrades of the Taoshan Branch of the Municipal Urban Management Bureau, the Office of the District Urban Management Committee and relevant streets attended.
Wang Yang demanded that we should highlight the key points of rectification, increase the intensity of rectification of chaos such as private construction and occupation of roads, strictly follow the requirements of the work plan and time nodes, make meticulous arrangements, take positive actions, continue to exert efforts, and promote the special action of comprehensive urban improvement in depth with high quality.
Wang Yang stressed: All levels and departments should persist in taking the people as the center, further unify their thinking, enhance their understanding, and with innovative thinking, solid measures, and a pragmatic style, make sufficient "embroidery efforts" around the problems and deficiencies existing in urban construction management, make up for shortcomings and weaknesses in a targeted manner, continuously improve the level of infrastructure construction, provide a good production and living environment for the citizens, and wholeheartedly enhance the people's sense of gain, happiness, and satisfaction.
