IT House News on January 25, China's first quantum computing company, Origin Quantum, announced that it will release a new domestic subcomputer in 2023.
Origin Quantum has developed a number of Chinese quantum computers and have delivered them to users. In 2020, Origin Quantum launched the first domestic superconducting quantum computer "Origin Wuyuan No. 1", equipped with a superconducting 6-bit quantum processor KF C6-130 and Origin Quantum Measurement and Control Integrated Machine. "Origin Enlightenment No. 2" follows the design architecture of "Origin Enlightenment No. 1".
At present, Origin Quantum has successfully delivered a 24-bit superconducting quantum computer and continues to tackle higher-digit quantum computers. "Origin Wuyuan" No. 1 and No. 2 have been launched in 2020, and have successively provided quantum computing services to global users through the Origin Quantum Cloud Platform.

Origin Quantum also recently released the first quantum computer and supercomputer collaborative computing system solution in China (referred to as "quantity supercollaboration"). This scheme can play the advantages of quantum computers and supercomputers in both directions.
As far as the specific calculations that the Google team took 10,000 years to complete the world's most powerful supercomputer in 200 seconds with a 54-bit quantum processor in 2019, if a supercomputer is used, the power is at the megawatt level, and the quantum processor has only 25 kilowatts, and the energy consumption of quantum computing will be greatly reduced.
IT House previously reported that the official roadmap of Origin Quantum shows that by 2025, Origin Quantum will break through 1000 qubits and reach 1024 qubits, and will use quantum computing to try to solve corresponding problems in different industries and develop dedicated quantum computers in the industry.
