Beijing, Jan. 19 (People's Daily) -- As an outstanding representative of China's excellent traditional culture, traditional Chinese medicine is a medical science gradually formed and continuously enriched and developed by the people of all ethnic groups in China in the practice of production and life and the fight against diseases for thousands of years. On January 19, "Light of Wisdom – Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Exhibition" was exhibited to the public at the National Museum of China.
Xinglin classics such as "The Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor", "Typhoid Fever" and "Compendium of Materia Medica" are as vast as a sea of smoke, and famous Qihuang masters such as Bian Que, Zhang Zhongjing, Hua Tuo, Sun Simiao, and Li Shizhen are as bright as the stars, shining with the broad wisdom of the Chinese nation. Today, Chinese medicine has been integrated into the bloodline of the Chinese nation and the production and life of the masses, and continues to radiate a steady stream of vitality and vitality in the new era.
This exhibition takes Chinese medicine culture as the main line, carefully selects more than 500 pieces (sets) of cultural relics collections, covering jade, ceramics, bone tools, gold and silverware, ancient books, calligraphy and painting, revolutionary cultural relics, etc., supplemented by more than 200 pieces (sets) of medicinal materials, according to the five units of "Key to Civilization", "The Way of Regency", "Linglan Secret Code", "Instrumental Medicine Collection" and "Inheritance and Innovation", from different perspectives such as development process, prevention and treatment concepts, medical classics, Chinese medicine materials, diagnosis and treatment equipment, future prospects, and international cooperation. Supplemented by a number of digital images and interactive projects, it strives to fully display the cultural system of Chinese medicine with a long history and unique concepts, and deeply reflect the formation, evolution and outstanding contribution of the independent knowledge system of Chinese medicine to the world.
