Origin of Tajiks
When it comes to Tajiks, I believe people can also think of Tajikistan. As the name suggests, the main ethnic group of Tajikistan is the Tajiks, and the Tajiks were once a branch of the ancient Persians, so they also have a relatively deep connection with modern Iran. The earliest time China established relatively close ties with the region began after Zhang Qian of the Western Han Dynasty established communication with these regions.
After establishing relatively close ties with the Central Plains, this people, which has always been nomadic for a living, has also felt the beauty of living in a stable business life, and has always been with us without committing any mistakes. Later, after the great expansion period of Tubo arrived in the eighth century AD, Tajikistan at that time really had no way to take such a powerful dynasty, and could only choose to subordinate to the people, and annexed Tubo that even the Tang Dynasty could not solve well at that time.
Later, it was not until the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty finally had a good way to control its own border areas. And it is precisely because of the establishment of the Xinjiang General's Office that we have effective control over the region, and the Tajiks have thus submitted to our country. Although the ethnicity and culture of these Tajiks are very different from those in the Central Plains, they have always used the same military and administrative systems as us, and they have a great sense of belonging to us.
Tajiks and China
During the period when the Central Plains had not yet been connected to the region, the region had been at war and Tajiks had been choosing a closed lifestyle. Even so, they were drawn into the endless wars that Mongolia and Tubo brought them. It was not until Zhang Qian established the connection between the mainland and the place that their quality of life was greatly improved, and their views and attitudes towards life gradually tended to be gentle, and they also established a deep bond with us.
As descendants of the Persians, Tajiks have white skin and blue eyes, which are very typical Caucasian characteristics, and they also speak Iranian, and those who do not know will not associate them with the people of our hinterland. However, because of the development of history, they have a high degree of recognition of China, and they also recognize themselves as authentic Chinese. These Tajiks living on the Pamir plateau are no different from ours in their hearts, except for their appearance.
In the course of long wars and foreign domination, Tajik history is full of blood and tears. Later, after General Zuo Zongtang stabilized the situation in Xinjiang, they felt what peace is, and they also returned to their hometown where they lived in their own time, which further enhanced their feelings with us. In order to be able to repay the kindness, many young Tajiks really chose to join the army of the Qing Dynasty and help us defend the frontier. Even in the face of an enemy as strong as Britain and Russia, they will never take half a step back.
During the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Tajiks also held their posts to help China avoid invasion from the west, and the Tajiks also received economic help from our Communist Party. Later, after the Kuomintang reactionaries took control of the region, they carried out ethnic discrimination and economic oppression against the Tajiks, and the Tajiks who could not bear it chose to revolt, but in the end they were brutally suppressed. Later, in the process of liberating Xinjiang, the Tajiks also made a lot of efforts.
After the founding of New China
Tajiks, like most ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, insist on intermarriage within their own ethnic groups, so their ethnic characteristics have been quite evident until now. But although they are quite united internally, this does not prevent them from distinguishing who is good for them and who is bad for them. Before the founding of New China, the life of Tajiks was quite primitive, and their quality of life was quite low, and they could only barely guarantee food and clothing.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, we began to implement the policy of ethnic autonomy in the region, and at the same time, we also identified a large number of experts and technicians to bring them all kinds of support according to local conditions, and at the same time let them change some of the existing habits as much as possible. In the process of decades of development and economic construction, the people on this plateau have finally obtained the stable life they dreamed of, and they are quite grateful to the state for this series of benefits.
Tajiks also know about Entu, and since the conditions in this place they live in are relatively harsh, only they know where to go and how to survive in the region, so their advantage is to be stationed in this area and help our motherland defend its sovereign territorial integrity. Therefore, many Tajik youths chose to join the PLA and became sentinels stationed on the plateau.

As a fairly inclusive country, China's culture and education tell us to be harmonious and different, and it is quite normal for China to have so many ethnic groups in such a vast country. What we need to do is to maintain national unity and let all ethnic groups have good development.
