Mailan, also known as Xiangxuelan. Perennial herbaceous flowers. Because its leaves are shaped like wheat seedlings, it is planted at the same time as wheat, so it is called Mailan. The flowers come in a variety of colors, and when they bloom, they exude a faint fragrance that is intoxicating. It blooms in winter and extends into spring.
After flowering, the leaves also wither and enter the dormant period. Many peanut-like seeds will grow from the roots. In autumn, you can dig it out and plant it or water it directly.
The fly in the beauty of Mylan is that the leaves are slender, soft and prone to lodging. Multiple bamboo sticks can be inserted into the pot and the leaves and stems tied with string to fix the shape (see Figure 10).
