Matjaž Kuntner, from the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, led his team to "accidentally" encounter the spider in China's Yunnan province.

This spider has a high degree of "camouflage", their body looks like a leaf, while the back side is green with a leaf vein pattern, the abdomen side is brown, so that according to the actual needs, it is transformed into "green leaves" or "dead leaves", and their "tail" is also shaped like a petiole.
This spider hangs itself in the surrounding foliage through its own silk web to confuse the surrounding insects. In Australia, there is also a spider that is associated with leaves, the "love leaf spider", but they just live under the leaves and use the leaves to block out the sun. And it does not have camouflage.
