Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was recently announced to be coming to PC on January 30, 2025, and in a PlayStation blog post announcing the news, Insomniac Games revealed that there are no plans for a new story content DLC for the game, but they assured that all previously released updates will be included in the PC version of the game.
"While we don't have any additional story content planned for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for PC, we're excited to bring all of the previously released DLC content to the PC version of the game," the developer said. ”
Interestingly, in December, Insomniac Games was hit by a massive ransomware attack, which leaked a lot of news, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2, including Insomniac Games' plans to release free DLC content in three installments in 2024 and re-release the "Game of the Year", and now it looks like those plans have been canceled.
Earlier this year, however, Insomniac partnered with Gameheads to launch a paid "Fit N' Fresh Clothing Pack" DLC for the PS5 version of the game, which will be available to all players for free in October, as promised.
