Many dive photographers will find a very magical phenomenon on the seabed, that is, there is always a group of small fish following the whale shark, and when they are tired of swimming, they will directly attach themselves to the whale shark and let the whale shark take them for a ride.
The small fish that cause this phenomenon are actually very famous, they are bass fish, also known as sucker fish. Since they all have a suction cup at the top that can suck things, they will generally be adsorbed on other big fish and go hunting together.
And because they are also carnivorous fish and eat other fish, when they come to the sea where there is a lot of food, these bass will actively disengage and then begin to prey on their own.
When it is time to leave again, they will look for the next host, and then, adsorbed on its body, for the next stop to transfer.
