According to Cambodian media sources, at 10:30 p.m. on September 1, anti-drug police and local police raided a small village in Phnom Penh's Shui Jing Hua District and arrested 16 young men and women suspected of trafficking and drug abuse.
It is reported that the above 16 suspects include 2 young women. On the spot, 6 small packets of drugs, as well as physical evidence such as drug-related supplies, were seized.
At present, the 16 men and women involved in drugs have been escorted to the Phnom Penh Primary Court for further treatment in accordance with the law.
