The two sides agreed to give full play to the overall coordinating role of the China-Cambodia Intergovernmental Coordination Committee and continue to promote the building of a China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era with high quality, high level and high standards. China reiterates its support for Cambodia in choosing a development path suited to its national conditions, in safeguarding its national sovereignty, security and development interests, and in resolutely opposing interference in Cambodia's internal affairs by external forces. The Cambodian side reaffirmed its adherence to the one-China policy and its recognition of Taiwan as an inalienable part of China's territory. The Cambodian side opposes any attempt to use the Taiwan issue to interfere in China's internal affairs, opposes any form of "Taiwan independence," and firmly supports all efforts made by the Chinese Government to realize national reunification. The two sides agreed to intensify high-level exchanges and deepen the exchange of experience in governance. We will strengthen defense cooperation, continue to conduct joint exercises and training, promote cooperation in medical and health services, personnel training, and mine clearance, and jointly crack down on transnational crimes such as online gambling, wire fraud, and drug trafficking. The two sides agreed to promote the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Cambodia's Pentagon Strategy, formulate a cooperation plan for the Industrial Development Corridor as soon as possible, promote the preliminary design of the China-Cambodia Railway, promote the implementation of more early harvest projects of the Fish and Rice Corridor such as the China Agricultural Demonstration Center, and deepen the China-Cambodia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. We will implement the China-Cambodia Free Trade Agreement with high quality, support the export of high-quality Cambodian agricultural products to China, and encourage more Chinese-funded enterprises to invest in Cambodia. The two sides agreed to take the "China-Cambodia Year of People-to-People Exchanges" as an opportunity to encourage tourism exchanges between the two countries, increase flights between the two countries, support Cambodia in exploring tourism and cultural resources, and carry out more practical exchanges between youth, local governments and friendly organizations. The Cambodian side will provide support for the resumption of operations of the Chinese Cultural Center in Cambodia. The two sides reaffirmed their willingness to actively cooperate within the framework of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, and continue to strengthen coordination and cooperation in platforms such as the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation and China-ASEAN Cooperation. Both sides believe that it is in the common interests of countries in the region to maintain the hard-won peace and stability in the region and promote regional development and prosperity. The two sides stressed that they will fully and effectively implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, advance negotiations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea, and strive to reach the Code at an early date. After the meeting, Wang Yi and Sun Zhantuo witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperation documents in the fields of infrastructure, agricultural planning, inspection and quarantine, and attended the release of the Cambodian version of "The Tale of the Wind and Soil of Chenla" and the ceremony of exporting Cambodian coconuts to China. On the same day, Wang Yi also met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Senate Chairman Hun Sen.
