After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, it was 8:00, we hailed a tuk-tuk in front of the hotel, and after haggling, the tuk-tuk driver chartered us to take us around several of the best attractions in the Angkor Wat Grand Circle for 15 US dollars.
The tuk-tuk travels for about half an hour to the ticket office near the Angkor Wat Museum, where each visitor needs to take a photo to buy a ticket with their own head. Tickets are available for 1/3/7 days for $37, $62 and $72 respectively, and we purchased a 3-day ticket valid for any 3 days within a 7-day period.
We started from Bireo Temple, took a clockwise large circle loop, and passed 6 temple monuments along the way: Bireo Temple, Dong My Phong Temple, General Tasun Temple, Yongpan Pool, Royal Bath, and Shengjian Temple. The temples along the way are exquisite and distinctive.
However, because the weather in Siem Reap in April and May was stuffy and hot, everyone was sweating profusely after visiting every scenic spot, buying water and drinking coconut one after another. Fortunately, the two baby grandsons were very competitive and completed the whole process. In addition, there are not many tourists, and the experience is not bad!
