2009's "Bat" is probably the most literary vampire movie after "Four Hundred Years of Thrills." Korean movies always occasionally stimulate my nerves paralyzed by Hollywood and bring me a different style. "Bat" is such a special film.
The male protagonist played by Song Kang-ho is a devout priest who voluntarily vaccinated the virus in order to become an ascetic, which is used to treat other people's diseases. He was lucky enough to defeat the virus and gain special functions to help the heroine's husband get rid of the disease, but he found that he had turned into a bloodthirsty vampire.
The next story is a paraphrase of Zola's famous book "Red Apricot Out of the Wall", which is also mixed with Isabella Adjani's "Infatuation", a destructive emotion that runs through the whole film, making people's hearts tremble.
I remember the first time I watched "Infatuation" (Zulaski's famous work), Adjani wore a blue dress, dragged her legs in pain on the empty street, and her hands nervously scratched on her body, and her body kept convulsing.
