A few weeks ago, a friend sent a private message to Scourge and asked him to introduce the DC event "Shadow Wars".
"Shadow War" is a Batman family crossover event launched by DC in 2022. The incident involved three large organizations: the Shadow Alliance led by Talia Ogu, the Death Knell Company led by Death Knell, and the Batman Company led by Batman.
The two sides of the war are the Shadow League and the Death Knell, Inc., while Batman, Robin, and Batman Inc. have to stop the war.
Let's talk about "Shadow Wars" in the following small disasters.
What happened before Shadow Wars
During the events of Bane's City in 2019, Bane killed Batman's butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred's death had a very strong impact on Damien "Robin" Wayne, who left Gotham City due to guilt and PTSD. Even after Robin returns to Gotham City, he still has a disagreement with his father, Batman. In many incidents, he has quarreled and even clashed with Batman because of this.
It is believed that this conflict will continue to exist for a long time to come, and it will be an important element in many events.
During the 2020 event Leviathan Dawn, Mark Shaw overthrew Talia Ogu, the leader of the Leviathan Order, and became the leader of the Order, changing his title to "Leviathan".
Mark Shaw acquires the small nation of Markovia, who begins to shelter the Leviathan and becomes the Leviathan's base of operations.
Mark Shaw gave a televised speech calling on everyone in the world to do their part to make the world a better place.
However, in order to combat the Leviathan organization, the Shadow Alliance, led by Talia Ogu, fired countless missiles to bombard Markovia. Although the Earth Force struggled to stop it, it was to no avail, and Markovia was almost destroyed.
Geoman's sister, Tara "Terra" Markov, joins the Teen Titans as a Death Knell's spy. During this time, Deathstroke and Tyra also had sex, and later Deathstroke debunked the rumor that he had never slept with Terra and that he was simply using this to control Terra.
In short, Terra is Deathknell's tool against the Teenage Titans. The Death Knell has taken a serious toll on Terra.
The war began
After seeing his daughter Talia and grandson Damien living happily and peacefully, Reshaw Ogu decided to turn himself in to the government, atone for the crimes he had committed, and reveal to the world the secrets he had hidden for centuries, sharing the pool of Lazarus with the world.
Before being imprisoned, Reciaud Ogu held a press conference in front of the embassy in Markovia. At the press conference, a man in a death knell uniform sniped Reshaw Ogu with a sniper rifle.
Deathstroke also fired several shots into the crowd, one of which hit Talia. Batman finds Death Bell and fights Death Bell while Damian runs to his grandfather.
In order to prevent Reshaw Ogu from being resurrected with Lazarus, Deathstroke drops a bomb on Rechaud's corpse. In order to protect Damian, Batman abandons the fight with Deathstroke and rushes towards Damian. Knock Damian down before the bomb explodes.
Knell took the opportunity to flee.
First Alfred, then Reshoogu, Damian screams and rushes towards Batman, only to be held in Batman's arms.
Damian pushes Batman away, turns away, and is alone in search of Deathknell for revenge.
The wounded Talia is taken to Lazarus Pool by her men, and she then gathers the Shadow Alliance, deciding to take revenge on the Death Knell Corporation and kill everyone involved with the Death Knell.
Meanwhile, at the headquarters of Zendia Knell, Deathline and Prometheus report to Knell that Reshaw Ogu has been assassinated by Knell, and Knell realizes that he has been framed.
Just then, the Angel Saboteur led the Shadow Alliance in a raid on the headquarters of Knell Corporation.
Knell, Rebirth, Prometheus, and Deathline battle countless Shadow Alliance assassins.
In the melee, the line of death is killed by the Angel Breaker.
Batman and Cameron Chase begin an investigation into the shooting of Reshoogu.
The Shadow Alliance's detonator fires a MANPADS at Knell's office, and Knell and Reborn jump out of the building and escape.
The Shadow League began hunting down Deathstroke Corporation members around the world.
Death Bell and Rebirth hid in a safe house.
Batman infiltrates the Shadow League's base, finds Ttallia, and asks if Talia was behind the shooting. Talia tells Batman that he didn't plan the case and that he didn't use Lazaruspool to repair his injuries.
Talia kisses Batman, but is rejected by Batman. Batman tells Talia that he still loves Catwoman. (In the events of "The Wedding", Batman almost married Catwoman)
Damian finds his friend Rose "Marauder" Slade (Daughter of Deathstroke), and the two team up to take on Deathstroke.
Damian and Rose track down to the safe house and attack Deathstroke and Rebirth.
During the battle, Reborn reveals to Damian that the two are "brothers". (Rebirth is a clone created by Reshaw Ogu using the DNA of Talia and Knell)
Deathstroke activates the self-detonation device in the safe house, and escapes with Rebirth.
Damian and Rose followed, and the war broke out again.
Batman appears to stop the fight between the two sides.
Angel Breaker and Merlin send a holographic image of them killing Dr. Moon to Deathstroke.
Deathstroke throws a grenade at the civilians, and Batman and Damien let Deathstroke and Reborn leave in order to save the civilians.
Batman and Damian interrogate an Arkham Asylum inmate, who confesses that he and several other Knell impersonators were hired by the Royal Flush Gang, and that one of the impersonators was Reshaw Ogu's murderer. Their death knell uniforms were obtained from Paul Gambi, a tailor in Midtown.
In Gotham City, Batman Inc. "Hood" George Close spotted Knell, Marauder, and Rebirth on the roof of a building, but as they talked, a group of Shadow Alliance killers appeared and attacked them.
The battlefield was divided into two parts, and the Assassins surrounded Deathstroke, and when they tried to shoot Deathstroke, Rebirth stood in the way of Deathstroke and was shot into a hornet's nest.
In another battleground, after the Marauders had defeated all the Assassins, they discovered that the Hood had been killed by the Shadow Alliance.
When the Marauders rush to Deathstroke's side, they see Deathstroke wailing with her reborn body.
The final showdown
Grief-stricken, Deathbell decides to launch a general assault on the Shadow Alliance, and he gathers the members of Deathknell, Inc. shows up to stop Deathstroke, who captures the Joker Hunter and threatens Batman to let them go.
Talia led her troops to return her grandmother to the island of Lazarus.
The Death Knell Company also flew to Lazarus Island and attacked the Shadow Alliance headquarters.
Batman and Damien summoned Batman Inc. to come to Lazarus Island as well to stop the war between the two sides.
Knell and Talia engage in a final showdown, with Thalia chanting "I'm a dragon!" "After killing Deathknell.
The truth is revealed
Just after Death Knell is killed, the impersonator of Knell who killed Reshaw Ogu appears.
He tore off his deathknell uniform and revealed his true colors. It turned out that he was Markovia's prince "Terrestrial" Brion Markov.
Terrier hates what Knell has done to his sister Terra, and his homeland of Markovia is destroyed by Talia's Shadow Alliance. Geoman orchestrates this event to make Knell and Talia pay for their actions.
The Shadow Alliance army is defeated by the Earth's powers, with Batman, Damien, Marauder, Talia, and the newly arrived Black Canary teaming up to stop the Earthman.
Despite using his abilities to create a giant dirt monster, Damian defeated him.
Talia raises her knife to avenge her father by killing Terri, but her son Damian stops her and convinces her to put down the butcher's knife.
Geoman gets up and tries to sneak up on Talia, but is kicked away by Talia.
The whole thing is over.
After the incident, the Earth Force was imprisoned.
Prometheus and others of the Death Bell Company put Deathknell's body into the pool of Lazarus, and Death Bell was resurrected. But he is clearly corrupted by the darkness, and the death knell heralds the coming of the Great Darkness, claiming to kill everyone.
The biggest crisis in the history of the DC Universe, Dark Crisis, has arrived.
