Luan Feng inspects flood control work
On June 22, Luan Feng, deputy secretary of the district party committee and mayor of the district, inspected the flood prevention work in our district. He was accompanied by responsible comrades of the district government office, emergency response bureau, urban construction bureau, emergency response center and other departments.
Luan Feng successively went to the Cedar Road Rainwater Pumping Station, the Yingchun North Street Water Accumulation Point, the Bayi Hongling Flood Water Bridge, and the District Traffic Center, inspected in detail the drainage of the pumping station, the flood control material reserve of the lower crossing bridge, the activation of the drainage pump truck, the flood control of the flood control of the flood bridge and the video monitoring of the lower crossing bridge, and listened to the report on the flood prevention work in our district.
Luan Feng affirmed the flood prevention preparations in our region, and pointed out that with the rainy season coming, the flood prevention work has entered a critical period, and all relevant departments in the region should firmly establish a bottom-line thinking and a sense of distress, strengthen overall planning and dispatch, and earnestly do a good job in flood prevention material reserves to ensure that material reserves are sufficient, stored in an orderly manner, and rationally allocated. It is necessary to improve emergency response capabilities, always maintain vigilance, start effective flood prevention measures according to changes in weather, rain and water conditions, arrange special personnel to be on duty in sections prone to water accumulation, and promptly use drainage pump trucks for drainage operations to ensure smooth drainage of roads in urban areas of our district. For the flood road bridge and the lower crossing bridge, it is necessary to add warning signs such as flashing lights in a conspicuous position, strengthen duty patrols, make full use of the video surveillance system of the lower crossing bridge, adhere to the method of combining civil air defense technology and defense, timely early warning, in the case of flooded bridge deck, it is necessary to close it in time, and resolutely prevent personnel and vehicles from risking through the flood bridge, so as to better protect the safety of the lives of the masses.
