Spartan 300 Warriors (2006) The film was made and filmed on blue screen and green screen 90% of the time. They chose blue because it was more in line with the lighting pattern (green would be too bright) because the red garment (Spartan cloak) looked better against the blue background. #MOVIE STORY#

The film was the highest-grossing R-rated comic book film of all time until the release of Deadpool in 2016.

In order to play the role of a good king, the male lead actor of the movie, Gerald Butler, spends an average of 4 hours a day training in the gym for more than 4 months, so as to ensure a good body shape.

The film was shot almost entirely in a studio in Montreal, Canada, using blue and green screen backgrounds. The only part of the film that wasn't shot in the studio is a shot of a Persian emissary appearing on a hilltop and dashing toward Sparta (GIF I), which was shot in Los Angeles. However, even this shot used computer effects in post-production.

The film took 60 days to shoot. However, post-production took almost a year.

There is a deleted scene in the film where the hunchback Effiealt jumps off a rock and attempts to commit suicide, but fails, leading him to decide to betray the Spartans. EffieArte's character, Andrew Previn, spends five hours a day putting on hunchback makeup. (Last picture)
