According to Deadline, filming of the third Deadpool movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will resume as early as this week. Due to the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG-AFTRA) strike that began on July 14, Deadpool 3's film was paused after 50% of the filming. The strike will end at 12:01 a.m. local time on the 9th, and the website reports that filming will resume this week or in the near future.

Marvel Studios has scheduled the film's release in the U.S. on May 3, 2024, but Deadline reported last month that the May release date could be changed due to a strike. In addition to this movie, the MCU movies to be released next year are Captain America: Brave New World (July 26, 2024) and Thunderball (December 20, 2024), which will be released soon.
