Gerald Butler's new film became the first American film to be filmed entirely in Saudi Arabia

Butler and director Wolf

The military thriller "Kandahar", starring Gerald Butler and directed by Rick Roman Wolf, recently began filming in Saudi Arabia, which is the third cooperation between the two after "Angel Fall" and "Doomsday Escape", and the first American film filmed in Saudi Arabia.

"Kandahar" tells the story of Tom Harris (Butler), a secret CIA agent working in the Middle East. The leak of an intelligence exposed his secret mission and identity. Trapped in the heart of the enemy, Harris and his interpreter must flee the desert to an evacuation point in Kandahar while also escaping elite special forces.

In addition to this military thriller, Gerald Butler also collaborated with Worf on the fourth fall of the film, "The Fall of the Night", the exact time of which has not yet been announced.
