The Museum of Modern Natural History of Mongolia's South Gobi Province opened on May 18. The museum was designed by a Mongolian architect and provided by the "Gobi Oyu Support Fund" of the company "Oyu Tolgoi"

The Museum of Modern Natural History of Mongolia's South Gobi Province opened on May 18.

　　The museum was designed by a Mongolian architect and funded by the "Oyu Tolgoi" company "Gobi Oyu Support Fund", with a total investment of 10.9 billion tus. To highlight three main types of exhibits: paleontology, Bactrian camels, Gobi nature and minerals.

　　The museum houses more than 4,000 exhibits and artifacts. Among them, the glass cabinet displays Paleolithic and Neolithic stone tools, and about 60 physical cultural relics such as stone pits and stone axes. There are also miniatures of Neolithic settlements, sculptures depicting a way of life and huts.

　　In the center of the exhibition hall there is the complete skeleton of the giant carnivorous dinosaur, one of the largest Tyrannosaurus rex found in Mongolia.
