However, what is even more unexpected is that the domestic garbage transported here can be "reborn" and turned into green electricity, which can be transported to every household through grid-connected power generation, and become the lights of thousands of households.
Luxi County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant
In order to realize the "reduction, harmlessness and recycling" treatment of domestic waste in Luxi County, improve the living environment, benefit future generations, and promote the construction of beautiful villages and new urbanization, as early as March 19, 2019, the People's Government of Luxi County and Conch Venture signed the "Luxi County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project Investment Agreement", and on April 10, 2019, Luxi Haichuang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was registered and established. On December 6, 2020, the People's Government of Luxi County and Conch Venture signed the "Luxi County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project Franchise Agreement".
It is understood that the first phase of the project will be connected to the grid on January 17, 2021, and the second phase will be connected to the grid on December 25, 2021. The daily garbage inflow into the plant is about 700 tons, the daily garbage incineration is about 660 tons, and the daily on-grid electricity is about 230,000 kWh, and the service scope is mainly Luxi County and Maitreya City.
Walking into the Luxi County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant, I saw garbage collection and transportation vehicles coming in and out, a busy scene.
The reporter learned that "waste incineration power generation" is not magical, domestic garbage in the factory's garbage storage pit, after 5 to 7 days of storage, about 20% of the water is filtered out, can be sent to the incinerator for incineration, the flue gas in the waste heat boiler will heat the water into medium temperature and medium pressure superheated steam, drive the generator set to generate electricity. The heat energy generated by garbage incineration is converted into electricity, and the exhaust gas and wastewater are discharged up to the standard after professional treatment.
Walking into the central control room, the large screen is dotted with numbers of various colors, and through the visual monitoring of "fireworks in the furnace", you can clearly see the raging flames. The operator constantly adjusts the operating parameters so that the numbers are displayed intuitively and accurately on the large screen. This is related to whether the waste incineration power generation can achieve the best operating state when the emission standards are met, and whether the waste heat generated by waste incineration can be used for efficient power generation.
"We adopt the world's most advanced domestic waste incineration treatment technology, with a daily processing capacity of 660 tons of garbage, and the harmful gases generated are purified by the flue gas purification system and discharged up to the standard, and the wastewater is purified by water treatment equipment and reused, so as to fully achieve zero sewage discharge." Luo Huijun, the head of the central control of Luxi Haichuang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., said that the whole process of high-temperature incineration of domestic garbage, while achieving environmental protection through harmless treatment, also allows garbage to be "reborn", turning waste into electricity, and efficient use of resources.

It is worth mentioning that on the basis of harmless treatment, domestic waste incineration power generation not only realizes the resource utilization of urban and rural domestic waste, but also opens up the two-way transformation path of "lucid waters and lush mountains" and "golden mountains and silver mountains". The operation of the domestic waste incineration power plant has officially bid farewell to the era of landfill waste treatment in Luxi County and Maitreya City, and has entered a new era of harmless incineration power generation and recycling.
