Roma left-back Spinazzola returned to the pitch after a gap of 311 days.
Last summer, Spinazzolla injured his Achilles tendon in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 and has been absent from the tournament until the 36th round of Serie A.
In the final stages of Roma's away match against Fiorentina, Mourinho replaced Castorp with Spinazzola, who had been nursing an injury for ten months.
Being able to play again was the moment of Spinazzolla's dream.
In a post-match interview, the Roma left-back said: "I can't wait to play. Three minutes (playing time) is important. For those games that have been missed, every minute I play now counts. The moment of my dream in these ten months finally came, I waited for a long time, I was very happy, back to the team, I felt happy and at ease.
For Spinazzollah to return to the game, Mourinho said in a post-match interview: "He has worked well, the injury has passed, and now the problem is speed, intensity and playing time. Playing 5 minutes is a symbolic one. There will be more playing time.
