Even if Juventus secure Champions League qualification, coach Allegri may struggle to keep his job, with the club now having two options: let him continue to coach next season until his contract expires, or pay a €7 million break-up fee to give him up to a new manager.

Since returning to Torino City in May 2021, Allegri has not been able to escape the skepticism of the outside world, and criticism has grown louder over the course of the season, especially after the Bianconeri have become more and more distant from Inter Milan.

Although Juventus beat Frosinone and Fiorentina and eliminated Lazio in the Coppa Italia to reach the final, the team has been in poor form in the league in recent months, winning just two of their last 13 league games, leaving Allegri without a large majority of supporters.

According to the 18th edition of Sport on Monday, Allegri will sit down with sporting director Giuntoli this summer to discuss his future, leaving Juve with two options.

The first is to stay at Juventus in the final year of his contract, but this is difficult for the Black to accept, and the second option is for Juventus to insist on hiring a new coach like Thiago Mottard, even if they have to pay Uncle Yu a whopping 7 million euros.

Allegri has reportedly made it clear that he will not resign this summer, forcing the club to either pay for him or have to keep him in charge. The club's feeling is that there is a clear disconnect between the manager and the first team, but no final decision has yet been made.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Juventus will travel to the city of Rome twice in May, with the results of those two games determining Allegri's future at the club.

Uncle Ao's contract with the Bianconeri expires with a year to go, but his future at the Allianz Arena remains uncertain, to say the least.

Some observers believe the club has made up their minds to sack the 56-year-old Allegri at the end of the season, with Thiago Motta the favourite to replace him. However, Sky Sports Italia is not sure, pointing out that Juve's two games away to Roma will affect the management's final decision.

Juve travel to the Stadio Olimpico to take on Roma this weekend, and a win against De Rossi's Red Wolves would give Juve full assurance of Champions League qualification for next season. In addition, Juventus will return to Rome on 15 May to face Atalanta for the Coppa Italia title.

Sky Sports claim that the results of these two games will decide Allegri's fate. Uncle Yu is currently facing increasing pressure, and the club is in a downward spiral. Juve's results and performances have been in disarray since the beginning of February.

Despite this, Allegri continues to defend his work, arguing that the current record is in line with the club's requested goal, which is to enter the Champions League zone.
