Arbitrary and unreasonable, messing around? The "pain" that mothers must experience, but society makes them compromise

Today is Mother's Day, here to wish all mothers: Happy Holidays!

However, the topic of health around mothers is actually not uncommon, but there is one word that is worth reflecting on.

That is ----- menopause.

What was originally a medical word has now become an insulting word

"How can you lose your temper without moving, is it menopause?"

"So much nagging, endless, you're menopausal, aren't you?"

"It's all over the place all day, it's definitely menopause!"

......

In fact, I believe that many women are reluctant to listen to others use "menopause" to describe themselves.

Whether it is a little girl or a middle-aged woman, from the private sphere to the public domain, from the parents at home to the work style in the workplace, the term "menopause" has long embraced everything.

However, these three words have also departed from the scope of medical definition and become derogatory and sarcastic.

And such a situation is even more troublesome for many mothers who have entered menopause.

When one foot is preparing to step into the threshold of menopause, whether there are really symptoms, what kind of appeal, and how to express emotions, it may be concluded by a simple evaluation----

"Menopause, huh?"

This also means that once mothers enter menopause, they will become hysterical, grumpy, nag, quarrelsome, unreasonable, messy, uncertain, brains can not keep up... A series of negative performances.

This also makes mothers begin to realize that when they reach this age, they are slandered by the outside world, and when they face the possibility of losing their reproductive age, they will also think that they have lost the value of women.

Even when it comes to menopause, moms aren't crazy women

The so-called menopause is actually called "perimenopause" in medicine.

This refers to the physical and mental symptoms caused by fluctuations or decreases in sex hormones before and after menopause in women. According to the data, in the past 15 years, the relevant survey reports on the mainland show that the natural age of menopause in mainland women is between 47.4 and 49.8 years old.

In general, during perimenopause, women behave like this:

First, menstrual changes

Some manifestations are shortened menstrual cycles, decreased menstrual flow, and finally menopause; others are manifested as irregular menstrual cycles, prolonged menstrual cycles and menstrual periods, increased menstrual volume, and even major bleeding or continuous dripping of blood.

These manifestations slowly decrease and stop, although sudden cessation of menstruation is rare.

Second, vasomotor symptoms

The main manifestation of vasodilation and contraction is hot flashes.

The incidence of hot flashes in natural menopause is more than 75% and lasts for about 1-2 years, and 25% of women will last for 4-5 years or more. The incidence of hot flashes after menopause is higher and usually begins within one week after surgery.

Sometimes it is felt that a heat wave spreads from the chest to the neck and face; the skin of the neck, face and other parts will have local redness, accompanied by symptoms such as sweating and cold intolerance.

Hot flashes can appear suddenly, lasting from seconds to tens of seconds, or even up to an hour, usually about 1-2 minutes. The number of seizures varies from 1 to 2 times a week to several times a day to dozens.

As menopause progresses, the frequency and intensity of attacks will gradually decrease, and eventually disappear naturally. Vasomotor occurs at the beginning of the morning, at dusk, at night, when active, eating, dressing, covering too much, increasing heat, or emotional agitation, and may be accompanied by headache and palpitations.

Third, spirit

Menopausal women tend to experience symptoms such as irritability, anxiety, low mood, decreased self-confidence, emotional loss of control, and paranoia. In addition, memory loss, inattention, and sleep disturbances are also common manifestations.

In addition, due to the gradual decline or disappearance of ovarian function, the level of estrogen in the body is significantly reduced, and the vaginal mucosa will become atrophied and thinned, resulting in a significant reduction in vaginal secretions, which will show dryness.

Menopausal moms are not going crazy, they are calling for help

As life expectancy gradually increases, women are in a state of estrogen deficiency for more than 1/3 of their lives, and no one wants to admit that they are "menopausal", but women will always enter "menopause" and need to go through at least 4 years of getting along.

This is only in medicine, just in a woman-specific time, affected by hormone ebb and flow, and accompanied by physical discomfort.

But getting old and hormones receding should not be a reason to be disliked.

In real life, menopausal mothers not only have to suffer from torturous physiological symptoms, the family's tolerance and compromise, and the continuous social propaganda of "menopause stigma", which eventually makes mothers erupt in conflict again and again.

When the negative meaning of a word is gradually extended, gradually used, so it is scolded, it is detached from the definition of its own vocabulary.

When we see a mother or a relative or friend around us suddenly hysterical, we hope that everyone can understand that nothing is "inexplicable".

Mothers in menopause are not beasts of prey, but they have experienced too many changes during this stage, accompanied by an increase in panic, so much so that they cannot control themselves.

Menopause is a life stage that every woman must go through, and we can't avoid it.

But we can reconcile with it, we can have a better quality of life, we can enjoy beauty and freedom.
