He has been practicing painting and calligraphy since he was a child, and his basic skills are solid. He went to Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts to study sculpture. Unconsciously, art attracted Xue Bin to go a long way on the road of carving, leaving some insiders behind in the distance. And Xue Bin still didn't know. Perhaps, the illusion began earlier, in his hometown of Wandi River, Xue Bin, who grew up playing with mud and sand stones, would not know at all that these stones were the first thing that the white fox used to seduce him. And he easily carried the Tao, before he could really engage in the art of jade carving, he went on a journey to find stones.

Later, Xue Bin went to Fuzhou, and the thick jade carving culture attracted him to stay away from home and live in Fuzhou. He studied art from famous masters, under the chinese arts and crafts master Lin Fei and the jade carving master Zheng Ji. The highly respected teacher Lin Fei had high hopes for Xue Bin and carefully taught him. At the end of the three-year study period, Fuzhou SenyaZhai Xue Bin Studio was established. He took the jade produced in his hometown to the south, and a series of Laiyang jade carvings branded with Xue Bin's mark rushed into the jade carving world with his spiritual thinking and exquisite sword techniques.

Talking about the creative process, Xue Bin said: "Giving the stone face to face, in the silent conversation with the stone, giving life to the lifeless stone, this is the only way for a creative carver." Obsessed with creation, sleeping and forgetting to eat, losing voice and aphasia are common things, as if trapped in the boundless darkness, there is no way out. ”
