Game tidbits
In the opening 3 minutes, Dillon Brooks hit Payton in the head while pursuing the defense, leading to a second-degree malicious foul and was expelled! Cole scolded the move for being dirty! Payton injured his elbow after landing and withdrew from the game.
Not long after Payton was injured, Green was also hit in the face by Tillman's elbow. He raised his middle finger before leaving the field, received stitches and returned to the court, but his eyes were visibly swollen.
