General's Office Museum

Suiyuancheng General Office was built in the second year of the Qianlong Dynasty (1737) of the Qing Dynasty, built according to the specifications of the official residence of the Qing Dynasty Yipin Fengjiang, and was the main building of the Qing Dynasty Eight Banners Garrison City, Suiyuan City, where 79 Qing Dynasty Suiyuan City generals served. It is one of the 14 permanent Eight Flags garrison general offices in the Qing Dynasty, which has a history of more than 280 years and has important historical value. It is the best-preserved and largest cultural relics site in the existing Qing Dynasty garrison general's office on the mainland, and it is of great value for the study of Qing Dynasty frontier policy and Suiyuan history and culture.

General's Office Museum

In 2006, it was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and in 2007, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage awarded the Museum of the General Administration of Public Affairs the honorary title of "National Advanced Collective for Cultural Heritage Protection". In 2009, it was rated as a national second-class museum.
