Overwatch 2, which has been in development for a long time, has finally launched beta testing for PvP. Shortly after its launch, the Overwatch division broke its previous Switch total viewership record in just a few hours.
In order to commemorate the launch of the test of "OW2", Lirik, Myth and other high-profile anchors live-streamed "Overwatch". The game has reached around 450,000 views, while another famous streamer, xQc, has seen more than 150,000 views of overwatch live streams.
Overwatch fans have been eager to be selected for overwatch 2's PVP test. But the only way to qualify for beta testing is to bind their Blizzard Battle.net account on Twitch and watch the partner stream for a period of time. Lucky users will be eligible for the PC beta by May 17.
In a Tweet from the Washington Post,Nathan Grayson tweeted that, according to sources, Overwatch was affected by Activision Blizzard's strong demands for sequels and esports leagues.
Overwatch has sold more than 50 million copies. Overwatch fans have been surrounded by issues over the years, from delaying the release of the hero to game director Jeff Kaplan leaving the company a year ago. However, the current momentum of Overwatch 2 is also a good start for the game.
Overwatch 2 PVP mode beta testing opened on April 27, and the national service test time is yet to be determined.
