In this case, the miniature automatic water quality monitoring station was applied to the key research and development plan project of Hubei Province - "Research and Application of Water and Soil Quality Monitoring and Regulation Technology in Shrimp and Rice Operation Area Based on Internet of Things".

Led by Huaqiang Engineering Group, with the participation of Yangtze University and Aerospace Xingyun Technology Co., Ltd., the project plans to build a set of regulation systems from soil and water monitoring data collection, to decision support intelligent platform analysis, and to the development and application of efficient biofertile development and application through the earth-earth integrated Internet of Things water and soil monitoring data collection terminal, as well as the Internet of Things water and soil quality monitoring station and the Internet of Things soil and water monitoring, supervision and early warning platform, to effectively improve the current situation of water and soil quality decline and agricultural non-point source pollution in rice and shrimp production areas.
