Spring in Lushan, between the clouds and mist, flowers and trees, tourists are weaving, it is a good time to step on spring.
Drive 55 kilometers from Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, and enter the Lushan Mountain Scenic Area. Two kilometers west of Dalin Road from Muling Street, flowers, paths, and pavilions stand in order - white magnolias, red begonias, all the way wandering, flowers are blooming. At the end of a lake, on the shore, you can see Baiju Yi Caotang and Jingbai Pavilion, which is the place where Tang Yuan and the twelve-year great poet Bai Juyi chanted "Peach Blossoms of Dalin Temple".
Follow the trail, but do not see where the Daelim Temple is. Lushan is a famous cultural mountain with a long history, and it is needless to say how many scenic spots there are in the past and the present. Da lin temple was famous during the Tang and Song dynasties, and was one of the three famous temples in Lushan, which is said to have been founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Flowers, trees and fruit trees are planted around the temple, and the forest is formed, hence the name of DaelimJi Temple.
The granite archway at the gate of the flower path has a link: "Hua Kai Shan Temple, YongLiu Poet", the font is thick and full. Step by step, it is the pebble-paved "White Sima Flower Path". Scattered here are the Flower Path Pavilion and the Jingbai Pavilion, which, together with the Stone Arch, were built by li Feng, a Hanyang scholar who lived in Lushan in 1931. In 1988, the "Baijuyi Caotang Showroom" was built in the park, and in 1996, the famous sculptor Wang Keqing made a stone statue of Baijuyi, and many tourists lingered here and took photos.
In the tenth year of Tang Yuanhe (815 AD), Bai Juyi was demoted to Jiangzhou. Xunyang Jiangtou sang the pipa line, and the poet's mood was once depressed. Fortunately, Lushan Mountain gives people comfort, here, Bai Juyi visits Tao Qian's former residence, looks for the beautiful scenery of the four hours, and builds his own house under the Incense Burner Peak (that is, Dalin Peak), facing the waterfall, and cultivating inward. Two years later, Bai Juyi and a group of friends climbed Lushan Mountain and visited Dalin Temple. The temperature in the temple is slightly lower than that under the mountain, when it is early summer in the "human world" under the mountain, and it is still early spring here, and the peach blossoms are burning, like spring. Good things are always fleeting, and so is spring. People always cherish spring, love spring, do not want to bear the spring, who knows in the sigh of sorrow, only to find that spring is just like a child playing hide-and-seek, secretly hiding in this deep mountain temple. Inspired by this, the poet improvised a seven-word poem, which became a masterpiece through thousands of years, and achieved the famous cultural attraction of Lushan Mountain, "White Sima Flower Trail".
And Ōryū-ji Temple? Historically, after the Tang Dynasty, in different periods such as the Southern Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty, The Dalin Temple was destroyed 5 times, and then rebuilt after it was destroyed. In the 1920s, Master Taixu organized the reconstruction of Daelim Temple and held Buddhist conferences attended by Buddhist representatives from China, Japan, Britain, Germany and other countries and regions.
Later, because of the construction of water conservancy, the local ruqin lake was built here, and the water flooded the Dalin Temple, and the temple site in the water was in the center of wuzhaoxuan's west lake. Fortunately, there is history at the bottom of the lake and a style on the lake. Nowadays, many homestays have been built on the lakeside, and tourists come here to listen to the wind and rain, watch the mountains and watch the moon, and also have a taste.
