Ubisoft has attracted acquisition interest from some companies
According to Bloomberg, including Blackstone Inc. Several private equity firms, including KKR & Co., are interested in buying Ubisoft and are currently conducting an early analysis of Ubisoft, while Ubisoft's stock price rose 11 percent on Friday. The report pointed out that Ubisoft has not yet entered into any "serious negotiations" with potential acquirers, and it is unclear whether Ubisoft is willing to strike a deal, and Ubisoft declined to comment on any intention to acquire.
In February, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said on an earnings call that Ubisoft could remain independent, but any proposal to acquire Ubisoft would be reviewed according to the interests of those involved.
