China Youth Daily Client News (China Youth Daily, China Youth Network trainee reporter Li Danping) Recently, the new exhibition of X Art Museum "Trey Abdra: Going to Heaven" and "Self-Impact" officially kicked off.

The exhibition "Trey Abdella: It's Time for Heaven" is the first solo exhibition of the Asian Art Museum by American artist Trey Abdella, presenting more than ten new works by the artist. The portrayal of everyday life in Trey Abdra's work not only narrates American pop culture, but also leaves the imprint of individual memories in this fleeting era. Trey Abdella said that he hopes that through this exhibition, painting will be pushed in new directions, blurring the boundaries between collage art and sculpture.
Huang Xunfu, curator of "Trey Abdella: Going to Heaven," director of the X Art Museum, believes that Abdra is currently in a stage of imminent explosion, and "the uniqueness of his works is very impressive, which is difficult to replace."

The exhibition "Autoscope" brings together the works of four artists from home and abroad. Through the paraphrasing and reenactment of the physical experience, the exhibition attempts to examine the capriciousness of the body, revealing the inherent connections between culture, nature and the human body in the artist's sculptural experiments with materials.
Rao Kuizhen, curator of "Self-Impact", said that from a macroscopic point of view, the four artists are wrapped in the narrative of cultural society to explore the status of the body; at the micro level, there are subtle echoes of each. "The works of the four artists are like two parallel rings, echoing and caring for each other, forming a clever intertextual relationship in this exhibition."

In addition, X Art Museum's first annual publication, X Art Museum 2020-2021, will be available in May. The book reviews and sorts out the art and cultural projects produced in the year after the opening of X Art Museum, including five exhibitions and more than 20 public projects presented by the museum in the physical space. Virtual art galleries based on online platforms and off-site art projects expanding overseas are also showcased in this book.
