The output value of the industry is expected to exceed 100 billion, and the World Drone Conference will be held in Shenzhen in July

Nandu News Reporter Yan Zhaoxin On April 20, the 6th World Drone Conference and the Organizing Committee of the 7th Shenzhen International Drone Exhibition held a press conference in 2022. The reporter learned from the meeting that the conference will be held in Shenzhen, the "UAV Capital" on July 1-3.

The conference will set up thematic forums around the themes of cutting-edge technology of unmanned aerial vehicles, urban air traffic, logistics emergency drones, safety management, education and training, artificial intelligence robots, intelligent vehicles, low-speed unmanned vehicles, unmanned systems in water areas, etc., and jointly discuss the technological changes, innovative applications, industrial landing and future development of unmanned aerial vehicles through theme reports, keynote speeches or roundtable sharing.

The output value of the industry is expected to exceed 100 billion, and the World Drone Conference will be held in Shenzhen in July

In 2022, the output value of the domestic drone industry is expected to exceed 100 billion

Yang Jincai, executive chairman of the conference, president of the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, introduced that in recent years, some industries have been greatly affected by the epidemic, but the UAV has risen against the trend due to non-contact distribution and intelligent application, maintaining a rapid growth rate of 30%, and it is expected that the output value of the domestic UAV industry will exceed 100 billion yuan this year.

It is worth noting that the conference is expected to have more than 2,000 industry experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries and regions attending the conference. In addition, more than 300 enterprises at home and abroad will carry more than 2,000 unmanned system equipment new products for display.

At that time, the exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, including DJI, JD Logistics, SF Technology, etc., more than 2,000 (Taiwan) unmanned helicopters, unmanned fixed-wing aircraft, unmanned multi-rotor aircraft, unmanned airships (boats), hot air balloons, unmanned paraplanes, flapping micro-drones, unmanned vehicles, intelligent robots, underwater submersibles and upstream and downstream supporting industrial products will all be unveiled.

There are more than 1,500 UAV enterprises in Shenzhen, and the "elite soldiers" of UAV anti-epidemic promote the development of the industry

In the battle against the epidemic and natural disasters in recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned system products are the "elite soldiers" and "sharp weapons" to fight the epidemic, and their wide application has promoted the rapid development of the drone industry.

From the air end (unmanned equipment such as aerial drones and satellite positioning systems) to the ground end (ground robots, intelligent devices such as temperature measurement services), from the cloud (software systems such as face recognition and big data) to the handheld end (smart products such as police, medical staff wearing and handheld). Unmanned system products such as unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned vehicles, unmanned ships, and robots have played a vital role in the fight against the epidemic.

According to statistics, China, as the most important industrial base for civil drones in the world, maintained rapid growth in the UAV industry in 2021, with more than 7,000 UAV companies across the country obtaining civil unmanned aerial vehicle business licenses, and the transaction scale reached 87 billion yuan. Among them, there are more than 1,500 in Shenzhen alone, with an output value of nearly 60 billion yuan, consumer-grade drones account for 70% of the global market share, and industrial-grade drones account for 50% of the global market share.

In addition, drones are also an important part of the aviation industry chain. "Made in China 2025" lists aerospace equipment as one of the ten key development areas, of which promoting the development of unmanned aerial vehicles is an important development direction for aerospace equipment manufacturing. At present, civil UAVs are used in agriculture, forestry and plant protection, power inspection, emergency rescue, logistics and transportation, forest environmental protection, disaster prevention and mitigation, geological meteorology, urban planning and management and other industries, and there is huge room for growth.
