This time, Baidu carried out unmanned manned demonstration applications according to requirements, and the first batch will invest 10 unmanned vehicles, and the follow-up plan will increase 30 unmanned vehicles. Previously, relying on the solid accumulation of 27 million kilometers of road measurement mileage in 9 years, Baidu Radish Run has achieved autonomous driving manned travel services in megacities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, becoming the world's largest autonomous driving travel service provider.
Industry insiders said that the pilot unmanned operation of passenger cars in Beijing will be a major breakthrough in the development of China's automatic driving, and a big step towards the robotaxi of ordinary people riding driverless.
Affected by this, Baidu rose 4.13% in Hong Kong stocks on April 28, with its share price rising at the forefront of the Hang Seng Index, with the latest share price of HK$118.4; in the US stock market, Baidu soared 6.84% intraday, with the highest stock price of $119.69, and many analysts rated it as "buy" or "hold".
