World of Warcraft officially announced version 10.0 of the "Age of Dragons" new expansion pack, bringing new race classes

Blizzard details the new Version of World of Warcraft, the 10.0 expansion pack Dragon Flight. It will take adventurers to the long-lost Dragon Archipelago, introducing new races and classes and flyable dragons. In addition, Blizzard has confirmed that the 2008 "Wrath of the Lich King" expansion pack will land in the World of Warcraft nostalgia suit later this year.

The first is the "Age of the Dragons," which offers access to the Dragon Islands, the home of long-hidden ancestors of the Dragon Clan, which was recently awakened after a disaster in Azeroth. This new area, described as lush pristine, bursts with elemental energy, will incorporate everything from icy wastelands and magma areas to lush forests and vibrant coasts in its four standard areas and new starting areas.

The starting area of the Dragon Archipelago is the home of the Dragon Hill Summoner, a new playable race-cum-class hybrid that will begin their WoW journey at level 58, allied with hordes or alliances. The Sorcerer will have two customizable forms, the Dragon Avatar they use in battle, and the humanoid form they take when interacting with the inhabitants of Azeroth. And, depending on the level of expertise the player chooses, it is possible to focus on damage or healing.

Visitors to the Dragon Islands can also get a customizable dragon as a companion and introduce a new skill-based flying system. The latter is designed to be "more interesting" than previous mounts, and can be upgraded to increase flight speed and distance, among other things.

In addition to the arrival of core new features in Age of Dragons, Blizzard has promised to improve some of world of Warcraft's existing mechanics, including modifying the game's talent system, improving class balance, and an updated user interface.

There's no exact launch date for "Age of Dragons," but Blizzard says it will hold an alpha test with an option to join before it is released. Meanwhile, you can get a more complete picture of what's new in this new expansion pack on World of Warcraft's YouTube channel through a variety of in-depth developer videos.

While officially announcing "Age of dragons," Blizzard also confirmed that world of Warcraft classics will re-release the 2008 WoW expansion pack "Wrath of the Lich King" later this year, in addition to its original content, including new regional Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord. Blizzard is introducing mechanics that will raise players who haven't played the Burning Quest classic to level 70 and bring individual arena ratings for PvP players. However, one thing that won't come back is the dungeon searcher feature that originally appeared in patch 3.3.5, where Blizzard said the community's focus on "the importance of social connections" was the reason for its absence.

Of course, the "Age of dragons" and "Wrath of the Lich King" nostalgic suits are part of a series of latest revelations from Blizzard in recent months, as well as its upcoming Overwatch 2 test, the new Warcraft IP mobile game, and newly developed survival games.
