2022 is the "East Asian Cultural Capital : Wenzhou, China Activity Year". On the evening of April 19th, a wonderful opening ceremony activity showing the thousand-year cultural heritage behind Wenzhou's rich "business atmosphere" was held at the Wenzhou Grand Theater, and the annual curtain of the activity with the theme of "Song Yun Ou Feng - Come to Wenzhou to See the World Together" was opened.

Wenzhou, the homeland of the Dong'ou Kingdom and an important node of the Maritime Silk Road, has a history of more than 2,200 years of city building, engraving the foundation and pursuit of the world of commerce, good deeds and literature for Wenzhou, and the inheritance of the cultural context for thousands of years has also given Wenzhou extremely rich "intangible heritage" resources. Wenzhou currently has 4 representative projects of human intangible cultural heritage and 35 national-level projects, both of which rank among the top three districted cities in the country, and the municipal intangible cultural heritage development index ranks first in the province for four consecutive years. Wenzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage not only includes unique traditional drama, music, dance, sports, skills, etc., carries a thick and colorful local culture, records the journey of wenzhou people's rafting road blue wisps, and is the source of Wenzhou people's cultural self-confidence.
With the theme of "Song Yun Ou Feng • Classic Intangible Cultural Heritage", the literary and artistic performance of the evening brought together more than ten items of provincial intangible cultural heritage and six items of national and human intangible cultural heritage, leading the audience to feel the majestic sound of the people of Ouyue continuing to write the history of innovation in the historical immersion. The world's Wenzhou people are the biggest advantage of cultural Wenzhou going out. Teng Jinguang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lin Jianhai, vice chairman of the International Financial Forum, Zhou Ruijin, former party secretary of Jiefang Daily, and many overseas Chinese groups have expressed their blessings and expectations for their hometown through videos, congratulatory letters and other ways.
