Liu Yilin and many of his father's disciples lined up in front of Liu Deyi's tombstone, using traditional worship methods to express their condolences to their father.
Liu Deyi is the first generation of Bashu comedians created by West China Metropolis Daily in 1998. In 1988, he starred in the first TV series "Ling Tangyuan". In 1992, he starred in the Sichuan dialect drama "Silly Master". In 1995, he starred in the humorous light comedy "Three Joys Linmen"; in the same year, he won the "Five One Project" award in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. In 1998, he starred in the Sichuan dialect drama "Silly Soldier Commander"; in the same year, he was awarded the title of "Top Ten Laughing Stars of Bashu". In 2000, he starred in the dialect comedy "Ling Tangyuan WaiChuan". On June 15, 2008, Liu Deyi died in Chengdu at the age of 64 due to a sudden heart attack.

Inheriting his father's acting talent, Liu Yilin, whose stage name is Xiao Tangyuan, once mixed in the Bashu laughing star circle, and in 2008, when he just entered the year of establishment, he encountered the sudden death of his father. Various life changes followed, and he finally chose to leave his hometown and drift north to pursue his movie dream. In the past 8 years, Xiao Tangyuan has become more and more mature, and it has also shown a small sharp edge in the film circle.
Now most of the small tangyuan are in Beijing and Chengdu, and they take turns to stay for a while. He said that people bother themselves because they have too many material desires. After experiencing some ups and downs in life, I now know a lot of things, and the most important thing is to keep a normal mind.

Liu Yilin: After leaving my father, the road ahead is my own. I learned too much after signing director Lu Chuan. The atmosphere, aura, professionalism, perspective, insight and working style of the big crew are all different. My father's expectations and instructions have always been in my heart, and I feel that as long as I don't leave the show business circle and follow the goals in my heart, I will insist on the banner of my father's generation.
West China Metropolis Daily: Can you tell your father what you said today at the tomb?
Liu Yilin: Of course, there will be hope that family and friends will be healthy and their family careers will be good. I myself will try to do my duty as an actor and take every play seriously.
West China Metropolis Daily: How do you plan to inherit your father's comedy art in the future?
Liu Yilin: My father came out of the world from the clown of Sichuan opera, and we are children who grew up on the stage. Reshape the Bashu Sichuan flavor miscellaneous drama, absolutely responding. I am ready to make a new project application for non-genetic inheritance - Sichuan Miscellaneous "Shu Opera" (the predecessor of Sichuan opera, that is, the prototype, integrated into the newly created Sichuan miscellaneous opera). Then shoot our process in the form of a micro-film documentary. The whole process is basically recorded with mobile phones and SLR photography.
West China Metropolis Daily: Besides "Shu Opera", what other plans do you have this year?
Liu Yilin: One of the projects prepared this year is the mobile phone network movie "Grass Thief" and "Crazy Roadshow" of the National V Movie Mobile Game Project. There is also a big production documentary + through the fantasy treasure hunting comedy "Treasure Hunt", which I creatively planned.
